Yeah, I know that awhile back Link created the topic "DS or PSP? I just can't
decide!" But I've made this so that people will [hopefully] debate on whether Sony, or Nintendo systems are better. I am fully aware of our other competitor, but they've pretty much only created one good system (Being our Xbox.)

Nah, I'm more of an Xbox fan (though I hate microsoft), but I prefer Nintendo over Sony. Nintendo has the classics, Sony only has the PSP going for it as far as I'm concerned.

Whoa I know there was a psp vs Ds thing but come on! psp has it's weak points, one being that the memory will fill up too fast and lagg like a mother f*cker. But to on topic, I go with nintendo, nintendo has been around for a long time, and their greatest game of all: the Zelda seires!! I mean non of sonys stuff can compete with how many and how good zelda came out, I mean the new zelda thats coming out is making other gaming co. scared because of it's real like graphics!! bwhuahahah!!! plus I played nintendo first so =P bite me sony.

Anyway, I used to be a Nintendo loyalist (or fanboy, who gives a damn) but now I'm starting to lean more on Sony, since they're the RPG-guys. :agitated: I just find RPGs so intriguing, I don't know! :P

C'mon guys, admit it, GameCube really wasn't that great of a console, the PS2 and Xbox totally pushed it aside, gave it a wedgie, and spat on it's shoe and left it their to cry. (metamorphically speaking, of course :angry:)

Maybe so but their Ds has stomped them like bugs, even now the DS rules over the PSP. A touch pad, chat system thats free!! unlike the PSP you have to pay for the internet and you have to buy and software download update software for it. (from what I heard), and don't forget it's voice command system, able to play the gba games and Ds games, where only the PSP can play PSP games and no PS2 or 1 games. the DS has no memory system since it's in the chip already, and as for the psp, it's got memory, sure it has 30 mb, but you can only have 1 thing of songs, 1 movie, and the rest is for games, and when it gets full it laggs!! LAGGS I SAY!!!! Now who'd want that, this is my reason for I go with nintendo because they always get pushed but they push back so hard they barley recover!

Well, what you say may be true but so far the PSP has ruled over the DS... seriously. Check all the gaming sites...

I bought a PSP, the day it came out ( in the U.S.) and I have friends that had the DS, but i'd have to say that the PSP is more advanced with features, like the USB port and being able to Upload pictures on it.

What Nintendo fails at is creating innovative and new concept.s They still are only producing gaming systems. Thats good, but what Sony and Microsoft are doing is creating systems capable of watching DVD's playing music, having pictures and movied on them etc. etc.

Actually, the fact Nintendo focuses on games can be viewed as a good thing; it means they can just focus their priorities on games, which they do. :P

Zelda, Pokemon, Metriod and the characters that are in SSBM games with a few new series and a multiplatform...

Nintendo makes great games, but if thats all they ever offer, people will go to Sony and Microsoft for their gaming needs I think. I mean, would you rather by a gamecube for games, a DVD player for DVD's and then a CD playe for music, or by an XBOX which can do all 3?

That depends on what the person wants, 'Gatio. :P Personally, I just want to buy an entertainment system for video games, not for a whole bunch of other stuff. I wouldn't buy something like that for the following 2 reasons:

1) I already have a DVD player, and a CD player.

2) Like I said, I only want a gaming system. If I bought an Xbox I'd be spending more money than I really needed to because I'm partly buying a CD player and a DVD player.

It's easy to see where you're coming from, though. If a guy didn't have a DVD or a CD player, he'd be better off buying an Xbox; it's cheaper than buying everything individual.

That's a good point, Eugine. If Nintendo created a wider series and variety of games they wouldn't be sucking so much now.

Also look at how many Everyone rated (age 5+, if your country doesn't have ESRB ratings) games they have. Some people want to be 'mature' and would never buy an E rated game. :P

Nintend did re-make resident evel, and a few fighting games as well, so it's not totally a kiddy system. But in general Nintendo is more of a childrens company than Sony or Microsoft.

Yeah!! I try to tell people that the DS has a lagg free system, that's what I hate most. Bu tyour right nintendo needs to make more m rated games. I remember when I was 10 when SSB came out for n64, I went to blockbuster and it was packed, and guess what they was getting? Yes SSB, I didn't get to rent one untill a month later because of what it was.

Okay, what I was trying to say:

Well not if you go to a game store with that new ID law. Either you be 18 and have an ID or you can get your parents to buy em for ya, an dmost parents don't like those M rated games so I'd say everyones equal, ..maybe..

EDIT: I'd play star fox because you get to fly around and shoot things down, play with 4 people, kill the 4, and I liek it because I have never lost once!!!! I may hav ebeen shot down but I have always won teh whole thing mwhuahahah!
