Got any stories of how you have overcame things in the past? I have a few I'd like to share.

Since about the third grade, my mind was not able to adapt well to math-related works. but now, I have overcome it. This wasn't just math, and it wasn't like dislexia, it wasn' as bad, anyways, this was along with coding. I had a hard time learning such things like HTML, CSS, and a handful of otherthings. I am now happy that I have been able to overcome this.

I also went into a period of religious decline back from the 6th to the 8th grade. I was very doubtful of things, almost the complete oposite of what I was for the past couple of years. I did this as a reinforcement of my religion. Now, I'm less of what I was, starting today, but I am still religious. The "thing" I overcame was my doubt in the supernatural, now, I am a normal, average everyday dude, and not the "preacher." Hey, but I still love debating!

Talking with non-familiar people. I know it sounds strange, but especially in english it was hard. now when I meet one, I can just say hello and sometimes even start a conversation (with people my age)

            Pretending to care.

I now say "Awww" when I'm actually thinking "Who gives a ****?". Huge improvement.

Just realised my post got deleted o.0
Oh well, prolly wasn't the smartest thing to post =/

I also overcame the whole caring what people think deal. Self conciousness is bad as it can change who YOU really are. Sounds cliche of course, but it's right for the most part.
