Well, I had all of this afternoon off, and I hate wasting time, so I set out to practice on my 3d modeling skills, and made up a 3d model of Isaac from Golden sun. It's supposed to be better than N64, if not Dreamcast(probably not) quality modeling, though I still have to work on textures and whatnot. Here he is though, in a fighting stance and a model pose. Enjoy.

Ah, I forgot to mention, this is cube modeling. You try to make objects all based on one cube, and all you do is split and split and split and morph until you have the image. It's actually 7 objects though, Isaac, the cape, the sword and sword holder, and the 3 circles that I didn't feel like taking the time to put into the model.

What program are you using? Looks pretty basic if all it is is low-poly with little anti-aliasing.

Gee, I really do need to get a better modeling program. I joined a 3d modeling club at my school, but we don't get software til next year. So, right now, it's discussion, freeware, etc. You can expect a lot better modeling come this fall.

wooh, well I'm going to be a rebel and go against what everyone else is saying here :P I think those look awesome, and WAY better than I could do. buuuuut! and heres the but! actually, its not a but. what I'm trying to say, is he needs more of a bum (At least in the first picture.) and a bit of longer legs, 'cause it seems the torso to leg proportion is off. but meh! I can't wait to see more!

THOSE ARE ALL GOOD, just one suggestion, if that program has hypernurbs, just mess with the settings on that, and it will LOOK SO MUCH BETTER, but keep up the good work ^^

Yup it's very runescape-like, If you practice more, I bet you can go past the runescape lv and into some better graphics.

Oooh, I might do an Alex. I felt like making Isaac because I had never done anything in 3d of Golden Sun before, but now, I dunno if I'd be as interested in doing somthing again(or improving Isaac anymore for that matter). Maybe once I've secured a summer job, and things have cooled down, then I'll work on it some more.
