I looked through a few pages of topics in this forum, and used the search engine, but I couldn't find a topic on this awesome show, I was surprised actually.

Anyway, I recently bought season 2 on DVD for my brother's birthday, and I loved it so much (watched it twice through) that I went out and bought season 1 today. I just love everything about this show. The characters are all unique and hillarious in their own way (especially Stewie, Chris and Peter), and it remains funny without becoming another trashy smut sitcom like a lot of other shows. I'm sure quite a few people here watch this show as well, so what are your thoughts? Have any quotes, or just want to discuss, this is the topic for everything Family Guy.

I am also a huge fan of this show ( I have seen every episode, except yesterdays :) ) I have watched every episode and I have memorized most of the lines to it. ( I know, it may sound like I have no life)

That Rock Lobster was funny, but I loved the episode where peter was under house-arrest, and he watched "Life on Sesame Street", and Bert was a detective. It was hilarious. :)

I like family guy, the simpsons, King of the Hill, Futurama, all that stuff. It's awesome. Watch king of the hill and you will see basically what we are like. :agitated:

For some reason, I never really liked King of the hill that much, but for Family Guy, I love the episode when Peter wants Chris to be a jew. Its funny!! :agitated:

ah man I remember that episode. Even reading the quote makes me laugh. Also the crazy jug guy is called Cooliad(Sp?) or something like that. After he busts in everyone gives him a WTF stare and he slowly walks away. That has to be the best animated jokes I have ever seen.

The crazy jug guy is the mascot of a north american based brand of juice; Kool Aid. The wierd dude is seen in their commercials saying "Oooooooooooooooooooh Yeeeaah!"

On Fox yesterday they showed a repeat of when Meg got a makeover to make herself look attractive. Then the Griffins became a hip hop band with Meg as the star. There where some funny parts but mostly that episode was quite boring.

anyone seen yesterday's episode? it was one of the new ones...sucks that i caught the second half only. Pretty funny nonetheless. LOVED the part at the end where Joe is hanging from Lois' arm...it went kinda like this:
Joe: "PULL Lois!"
Lois(struggling): "I can't. You're too heavy"
Joe: "Come on! think of me as one of your children"
(Joe's hand is slipping, Lois is about to let go)

Where are the new episodes on on the FOX network?!?! All they show on Sunday are repeats of Family Guy. I would guess that they are sving them for when the fall rush comes in and a load of crappy and decent shows on FOX. I can't wait that long.

yeah, supposedly, FOX airs the new episodes, and Cartoon Network's Adult Swim gets to air them a week later...thing is, i do sometimes watch it on FOX, but they're never showing the new ones...so i watch them on AS on thursdays and sundays.

I just treat the movie as a longer episode. There is heaps of funny stuff in it, it's like 3 episodes rolled into one.
