I'm wondering if anyone here can recommend a good Xbox game for me to get. The last few games I bought I had little luck with, and never really got into them (LotR: The Third Age, Knights of the Old Republic 2 and Doom 3). I'm looking for a game that will have a lot of playback, good controls (this is important), decent graphics, multiplayer would be nice, and a good story. I want something that is challenging but not impossible. So can anyone recommend a good Xbox game or 2 for me to look into? Thanks.

For the xbox? Sounds like your looking for a RPG game to me. Those types of games hang with the PS2. Here are some games for the xbox that rank high on my list:
Splinter cell 1 or 2.
Prince of Persia 2.
Halo 1 or 2.
Hitman.
Call of Duty.
Crimson Skies 2.(This is a game I personally like)
GTA: San Andreas.
Burnout 3
All of the Lord of the Ring games.....
That's all of the games I checked for yeah.

I suggest Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. It meets all your requirements.
It's a great game and has awesome online (if you have XBL).

My cousin has Jade Empire, that game is hard, good story, almost like an RPG...has good graphics good way to fight its 3D fighting...and it is hard, hes stuck lol...and you get your blood and gore share also along with a few swear words...it has a little of everything.

Jade Empire IS an RPG, and it's not that hard at all if you're good at fighting. It has a real-time battle system, but that doesn't mean it isn't classed as an RPG.
I suggest you buy Conker if you want an amusing game that has an awesome single and multiplayer. :lol:

I'd suggest San Andreas, Conker ( if you like shooting games), and you can play conker on Xbox Live.

What they said. Conker, Halo, Splinter Cell, GTA, Jade Empire. Those are some of the best recent Xbox games.

Conker is not a SHOOTING game, it's a variety to be honest. At first it's an platform/adventure game, and then halfway through it becomes a third-person shooter and on Multiplayer it is just a third-person shooter.
The humour in that game is truly hillarious though, deffinately one of the FUNNIEST games ever designed. This is why Microsoft bought Rare, because Rare know how to make Anubis laugh.

Conker is the first good game that those godd-for-nothing, traitorous back stabbing b*****ds at Rare have release after being seduced to the Darkside of the games industry.
