They say that when their site used tables, and has 7 code errors, idiots.

And er, that keyboard was pretty nice, I like the extra buttons on the side, very sexy.

Correction: Keyboard uses OLEDs. If you don't know what they are, prepare to drool over what they can do:

          http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OLED

          Quote

Within a decade, OLED screens could find themselves in applications as diverse as heads-up displays in helicopters, windshield displays inside high-end sports cars, or even as a replacement for lightbulbs in modern houses. More speculative uses include ideas as varied as clothing that incorporates flexible OLED screens in order to change its color at the click of a button, or high definition virtual reality rooms where OLED screens cover every surface.

To put it simply, if the technology moves relatively fast, we could be seeing "paper" media which shows moving images. Looks like those sci-fi writers weren't so off in the end run

For those who didn't read the link article just looked at the pictures: this is a just an envisioned product, nothing real yet. Those images are just computer models of what they would like to create. Any such keyboard would be very expensive, as OLEDs would cost $2-4 per key according to various places I've read about this product. Nevertheless, it is a very cool idea.

Whether or not it's made, it could happen. There's the technology, and all that's left is the want for it. If these guys get enough attention with it, it could become real...

I gotta admit, the idea is very sweet and the images made mini-Anubis very happy. Well maybe not that happy but I was trying to get across the message that I like it basically.

                Good shiz.

I think this is a stupid idea, It's just taking a step towards making computing completely half-assed. It's not so hard to just click 'show desktop' and click the program you want, or if you can't do that, put the program in the toolbar.
Mac users, even could just put the program that they want to open in the program tray at the bottom of the screen.

I'm sure there are also many others that think this idea is stupid. I'm sorry if this has somewhat offended anyone (don't ask me how it could of) but I'm just expressing my opinion

Ptff, by your logic, a scroll wheel on a mouse is half-assed, you could just press down or even better, page down, to scroll down a page.

You should read it with a small sense of irony.
And they actually don't say that they are best at "coding". You sure change your mind quick, not long ago it was like:"I don't care how it is coded, as long as it is viewed right in al browsers". And you'd be surprised on how many web developers who use tables. You say that the site doesn't look great, well it is very hard to make a liquid layout great. And it is clearly that simplicity is an issue in this design. And just check their portfolio and you will see that they are not idiots.

                                        Bah.

Tables are supposed to be used to hold tabular data. However, many sites still use tables and that is fine.

Personally, give me divs with css backgrounds anyday.

Is it so hard to understand my point?
They are not idiots cause they use tables.
What the right use of tables is not an issue in this matter.
