To go into detail I like a nice RPG with some puzzles and a good story line. Which is just what GS and GSLA were. Also FFX wasn't bad. I liked it. (my vote goes to RPG)

Also most of the types that you can vote for are in GS or GSLA
Action -fights and the summons have nice action
Adventure- off to light a bunch of lighthouses to save Weyard(seems adventerous)
Sports -if you count collosos
Role Playing Games -of course
Arcade -hmmm(what's an arcade example?)
Classic -yeah
Strategy -during fights
Luck/Chance (like casino games) -the Dragon Well at Tolbi and the ticket game
Puzzle -the many puzzles in the game

Role Playing Games. Unfortunately, they can be tough to make, making them be released few and far. Thus I don't own that many.

I'm partial to Racing Games, I really kick some good azz with them. :P I haven't played one in a long time though.

Adventure games are great but pretty much go in hand with RPGs...

And finally, strategy games are great because, well, they're a brain stretcher.

But yeah in the end RPGs are the best. :o

I just love rpg's though it can be hard to find really good ones. GS and TLA are the best I've played.

RPGs, they last the longest and actually get you to interact rather tnah just shoot, hack, drive etc.

RPG's generally have great stotylines, revolutionary graphics, brilliant characters and catchy gameplay.

EXACTLY the same here. Role-playing games: I can't get enough of. Strategy games: same thing, although I have not played one in a LONG time, since I've been playing RPG's a lot. I plan on buying/borrowing the Battle for Middle Earth strategy game once I finally build my system. Racing games: LOVE them. It's been quite long since I last played one tho. Just waiting till I get enough money to build my comp, and first racing game i'm getting is FIA GTR...gotta LOVE european touring competitions.

RPGs are my favorite, but I also enjoy puzzles and strategy.

The only platform games I like are Kirby games
The only Adventure games I like are Zelda games
The only racing game I like is Mario Kart

I :D RPGs. They're the only kind of game I play except for Mario sports and stuff like that.

RPG by far. I asked myself this question lots of times, and also why I liked RPG the most. Well, I got myself an answer.

In a Role-playing game, you have the ability to play with yourself. You can change the main character in any way you like, and you can play trough the game anyway you like. You can have conversations like you have them in RL (not litteraly, but how you act; Friendly, rude etc). If you would prefer Two-Handed weapons, you learn two-handed weapons. Would you like to become a blacksmith or bowyer? Your choice. Will you help certain persons, or will you leave them with their own mess? Your choice.
That is the best thing of an RPG. Furthermore, another thing which almost every RPG has, is the amazing freedom. You can walk wherever you like, take a look in every house, talk with everybody, whatever you want.
This all make RPG's the best genre there is...

And the best RPG ever, or better said RPGs, are the Gothic series. Gothic I was awesome, Gothic II was even better, and Gothic III will be released Q1 2006.

And GS or TLA?... Well, I don't wanna be rude, but those games aren't even in my top-10.

You can do some of that in other games, lol, and not all RPGs allow you to do whatever you wish with your character.

I prefer RPGs to other games as they last for a long time. Other games just don't last so long.
