Basically, this is all the games that we know will come out before Christmas, at least all the popular ones, so, which are you the most interested in? I'm torn between Animal Crossing and Mario Kart myself. Wifi is gonna rock hard.

      Animal Crossing hands down.

The DS's touch screen is pretty overrated; it shouldn't have to do with GAMEPLAY (e.g. like Mario 64 DS) because it is far to clumsy to be used for movement or anything. They should really just keep it to the menus, or how they use it in Metroid Hunters.

Edit: My bad on saying Metroid Prime. I'm not much of a Metroid guy as you can tell. :D

I'm only gonna get a DS for Animal Crossing. I have it for gamecube and it is the best. ( Did you know that it was out for the N64, but only in Japan. They get the best stuff :D)

Now if I had the Nintendo DS I would like to pick up the new Mario and Luigi 2 game or Castlevania. Now with the PSP out there I would rather pick that up instead of the DS.

Mario karts, the version on 64 beat the crap out of all the others. And nintendo said this one will have maps from all versions and some new ones.

What is animal crossing and why is there such a buzz about it?

And you forgot Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.

Metroid Hunters. I just love the demo, the controls are just so great. Then it is Mario kart. But mostly I want Twilight princess(but it is for gamecube)

I'm going with Mario Kart. Your going to be able to play on the internet, which I think is awsome. Theres one game thats not there I want too, but I doubt its coming to America. It's called Jump Superstars, and it looks like its an anime version of Smash Bros. I would probably have to import it.

Ironic. Animal Crossing DS has a mode of Touch Screen Only gameplay, where you can play the whole game without hitting any button save the power button. People also say it's the best use of the Touch Screen yet. And also, the touch screen goes very well with multitasking, in games like Wario Ware, Yoshi Touch and Go, Kirby Canvas Curse, and Meteos.

Anyways, I think that comes out in 06, sometime along with Four Swords. Either way, there are a couple games missing from the list, like Super Princess Peach and Ultimate Spiderman, because of the 8 options limit.

I think it was a good idea to keep Super Princess Peach out.

Anyway, Mario & Luigi 2. First one ruled, last battle ACTUALLY posed a challenge, so M&L2 should be great.

I didn't know that. Hmm. Well it depends on how movement is controlled. Will it be sort of like the "move where I click (touch, in this case)" style of movement, or something else?

It's a system of touch on the screen and the character walks towards the touch point. The longer you hold down the stylus, the longer they walk towards the point on the screen you're touching. And the further from them the point is, the faster they move. Touch an animal to talk to them. Touch the menu button to pull up the pause screen. Touch a door to open it, a board to post on it, etc...

Very easy, and very complimented so far.

That sounds much easier than the Mario 64 way of moving around, I'm glad they're doing it that way. Makes me want to buy it more, heh. :D

Hunters looks iffy. It's not really FPS material it seems. And it's not online, which is surprizing. I wish they had made a Geist DS game or something instead, something that was a real FPS and just as innovative.
