How many battles have you won in a row? The battle option is cool because it alows you to fight bosses that you've already fought. I've only won 24 battles in a row. But I've beaten the game so Dullahan or Sentinel pops up once in a while which makes it unexpected but I still find it very fun. Share how many battles you have won. That would be soooo awsome if you win 100 battles and then an extra movie scene comes up!!!! anyone ever tried?\

:o eeek! i just search for a topic on this and found one? how do i delete my topic? soo srry. yea i should have checked for a topic BEFORE i posted. but i thought the battle option wasn't a popular topic. :o

I never knew that if you win 100 battles there is an extra scene. Maybe I'll try winning 100 battles with cheats :o Well in TLA, I got 37 and in GS, 30. I always die when Dullahan pops up because he uses Djinn Storm, and of course all the other "uber" spells he has. lol

ROFL!! i thought you meant "it would be so awesome , if you win 100 battles then an extra movie scene pops up"...meaning, "it'd be so awesome [if you get to win 100 battles]. If you win 100 battles an extra scene pops up."...BUT, i misread, and missed that "win 100 battles and then an extra movie scene comes up"...

geez...what a pointless post this is...

I've beaten around 20-25 enemies at a time... I hate it when Dullahan pops up (Hes hard enough versing once to get Iris, led alone every 3 or 4 rounds in Battle Arena). Djinn Storm makes me spend around 9 rounds trying to send all djinns to standby, and when I get to around 7 standby of each element, he uses Djinn Sto storm again :P

btw: that guy that says: "You've won <#> Battles" "Keep up the good work"; does what he says change if you win a certain number of battles

Hmm...I don't remember my record for Golden Sun, but in the Lost Age, my record was 47 battles (I had also beaten Dullahan). So...yeah.

I'm not sure. For me that's all he says. I think he's just there to tell you how many battles you've won.

I always beat Dullahan, when you're at level 70 or around there and good skills in fighting, you can't loose unless you want to

I got like around 50 then got bored, can't remember exactly.

I think most of ppl's character is about lvl 70 or so, but mine is only 54... so I think thats why I always lose to Dullahan lol.

lol yeah... I just hate Dullahan because of his djinn storm attack - if i have all my djinns set for some reason (Well, pure wish is good for healing ur characters...), I try and get em all to standby so I start unleashing em... I almost get enough for Iris - then he uses Djinn storm...

You can probably never lose in TLA if you use one of those password hackers.

I downloaded one and tried it on my GBA...Isaac's party would easily pwn you all.

I've won 37 in TLA without cheats. I know that sucks for lv. 99 characters but, honestly, I don't do it that often.

I downloaded one and tried it on my GBA...Isaac's party would easily pwn you all.

I'm not so sure you'd beat mine. They may only be at lvl. 50, but I have an EXTREMELY good strategy that could beat the toughest foe. Sorry but I ain't tellin' what it is.

It's a whole lot easier if you take on the challenge before you face the four guardians, because when they show up randomly, it gets tough.

Presentation]<br /><br />'...In the sudden silence as I finished playing, I looked up to a circle of grim, <br />expressionless faces. Father Brown rose to his feet, and his somnolent voice echoed <br />throughout the silent Temple Hall...'<br /><br />'...Instead of the grateful joy that I expected, they were words of quiet rejection! <br />Instead of praise, sullen dismissal. I watched in shock and horror as Father Brown ground <br />my precious instrument to splinters beneath his feet...'<br /><br />I know it's most unusual<br />To come before you so<br />But I've found an ancient miracle<br />I thought that you should know<br />Listen to my music<br />And hear what it can do<br />There's something here as strong as life<br />I know that it will reach you<br /><br />Yes, we know, it's nothing new<br />It's just a waste of time<br />We have no need for ancient ways<br />The world is doing fine<br />Another toy will help destroy<br />The elder race of man<br />Forget about your silly whim<br />It doesn't fit the plan<br /><br />I can't believe you're saying<br />These things just can't be true<br />Our world could use this beauty<br />Just think what we might do<br />Listen to my music<br />And hear what it can do<br />There's something here as strong as life<br />I know that it will reach you<br /><br />Don't annoy us further!<br />We have our work to do<br />Just think about the average<br />What use have they for you?<br />Another toy will help destroy<br />The elder race of man<br />Forget about your silly whim<br />It doesn't fit the Plan!<br /><br />[V. Oracle: The Dream]<br /><br />'...I guess it was a dream, but even now it all seems so vivid to me. Clearly yet I see <br />the beckoning hand of the oracle as he stood at the summit of the staircase...'<br /><br />'...I see still the incredible beauty of the sculptured cities and the pure spirit of man <br />revealed in the lives and works of this world. I was overwhelmed by both wonder and <br />understanding as I saw a completely different way to life, a way that had been crushed <br />by the Federation long ago. I saw now how meaningless life had become with the loss of <br />all these things...'<br /><br />I wandered home though the silent streets<br />And fell into a fitful sleep<br />Escape to realms beyond the night<br />Dream can't you show me the light?<br /><br />I stand atop a spiral stair<br />An oracle confronts me there<br />He leads me on light years away<br />Through astral nights, galactic days<br />I see the works of gifted hands<br />That grace this strange and wondrous land<br />I see the hand of man arise<br />With hungry mind and open eyes<br /><br />They left the planet long ago<br />The elder race still learn and grow<br />Their power grows with purpose strong<br />To claim the home where they belong<br />Home to tear the Temples down...<br />Home to change!<br /><br />[VI. Soliloquy]<br /><br />'...I have not left this cave for days now, it has become my last refuge in my total <br />despair. I have only the music of the waterfall to comfort me now. I can no longer live <br />under the control of the Federation, but there is no other place to go. My last hope is <br />that with my death I may pass into the world of my dream, and know peace at last.'<br /><br />The sleep is still in my eyes<br />The dream is still in my head<br />I heave a sigh and sadly smile<br />And lie a while in bed<br />I wish that it might come to pass<br />Not fade like all my dreams...<br /><br />Just think of what my life might be<br />In a world like I have seen!<br />I don't think I can carry on<br />Carry on this cold and empty life<br /><br />My spirits are low in the depths of despair<br />My lifeblood...<br />...Spills over...<br /><br />[VII. We are your overlords. <br /><br />On we sweep with threshing oar, Our only goal will be the western shore. <br /><br />So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins, <br />For peace and trust can win the day despite of all your losing.
