Otherwise, its a basic template, you should add more images to make it more unique.

- A couple unnessisary DIVs
- The second heading should be an H2, not another H1
- Layout nearly put me to sleep

Nick: Well, the colors are better, but it is still pretty boring. And the color of the hover is kind of odd. If you want a plainly xhtml and css design, then use some cool features, like dropdown...

It's latin and is used as dummy text to fill up space.

The colours are pox, try some more vibrant and different colours, but without going over the top. Also, a simple 4 div layout is just the epitome of boring. Add rounded corners, a more noticable background tile, and some god damn images. Your coding ain't, but remember, for dead links, use:
<a href="#" title="#">link</a>
Rather than no href value, as you can lose validity, or ###, as that sometimes doesn't work so well.

I think this is, if possible, worse. No images, boring colour scheme, or lack thereof, ugle fon,t navigation system is annoying, and you guessed it, ugly. Maybe it's better if you don't ask for design critique, and just get coding. The coding is good, but maybe fix up your line indenting a little.

@ Designing: Andross > Me > You ;)
I'm still a wannabe web designer at this stage.
...and I think you're better off sticking to coding than a designing Nick, no offence intended.

I think his recent design is nice and clean though. It's more attractive than the previous one.
