So far there has been no new update set on the playstation website, and I found a comment ( I guess from somebody in Sony) http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstatio...ssage.id=806673

They say it won't be availible till the week of August 15th, instead of today. This Sucks :blink:

Ahh, I have heard of this... I believe it is supposed to add Web Browsing compatability to the PSP, among other things, correct?

I think it already has internet capabilities.

Since this does effect some gaming on the PSP, I'll let it stay here.

The psp only has web browsing capabilities if you use hacks. ( for now, at least)

I got the 2.0 firmware update. Nothing special, just waiting for someone to hack it so I can get back to my homebrew. -_-

I couldn't wait any longer, so I got the Japanese Version, 2 days before it came out in America.

What's the point? You DO know that the Japanese version doesn't do anything to your US PSP, right? You also DO know that you can still download the US 2.0 even if you have the JP 2.0 right?

Like I said though, after the novelty of the browser wears off it's nothing special except for the wallpaper feature.

I can't download the US Version anymore, I tried, and I know it doesn't do anything to the psp. I learned not to believe Sony. If you do find a way to get the US version to work on top of the Jap version, let me know.

I've already done so. It works fine for me and I have a Japanese PSP.

You just upgrade as normal. You don't do anything different. If you can't then like I said go to those forums and get some help from the geeks.

Excuse the double post, but I found out that there is nothing I can do to upgrade to the US version.

Sony OFFICIALLY said that it is possible to upgrade to the US 2.0 if you have installed the JP 2.0 the exact same way. So you should be able to but your PSP is being a rope sucking turd jockey.

That's bullshiz. It's on their website that it's possible. Call them again and tell them that I say they are a bunch of teabagging ****bites. Tell them that if they don't sort out your problem I will pesonally come down there to India and anally rape their wives while they are work.

Also why do you want the US version? It's exactly the same as the JP version and I mean exactly the same.

I really don't know why I want the US version. I just really want to see if its possible to upgrade to the US version.
