firefox just suddenly started messing up on gaia but my friend works it just fine....

It's probably firewall or some sort of extra security you've installed. It also helps to restart your browser etc.

Eh, just so ya know, that's probably just an internet hiccup, not something Firefox is screwing up on.

Just to take a guess, but I assume you had Firefox set to "Show Cached Images Only" or something similar. Control + I normally switches it.
