This is the Official Topic for All things westwood. Even thoguh they got sold to EA Games, their lder games still rock.

My favorites include the Dune Series, The first few Command and Conquers, and Renegade. Renegade is just plain out awesome. Prtty fun playing multiplayer too.

... Y'know, the idea of the "Official Topic" was to make official topics for certain game franchises, not the companies that make them. =/

Never really played any of their games, so I can't say much on them. I heard some good reviews, though.

Yes, it would be like making a topic called:

      Camelot Games
      Official Topic

      LAME.

Westwood has alot of different types of games, and i dubt many people will or ever would make topics for them, so I rolled it up into one topic. And making Official Topics for just a game is not a set rule, or a rule even at all.

And Jack, that was one of your most annoying posts ever, mainly because, I know what I am doing, and apparently, you do not. And it was off topic.

And plus, this site/forums is for GS, so there would be no point in making a camelot topic official, now would there?

He just owned you so bad. It's not even funny.

And I made the rule back then. But somebody deleted it, apparently. Now it's absolute common sense.

Exactly Who owned who? And no, forums that i go to more besides this one make official topics for anything, not just a game or series. Anyway, BACK ON TOPIC.

I don't thenk Command and Conquer Generals was all that good. WAY too short and WAY TO EAST. There was like... no fun thing to do.

Meh. Never bothered playing it. Most of my mates have and love it.
Back in the day of the original C&C, I basically BREATHED the game. I was so in love with it. The sheer pleasure of getting those oh-so-hard to get transport heli's was just to much fun for one person to handle, and still remain sane.

I loved renegade, it was awsome. I never played it online though.

And NOX, that's a great game, I've played online some times and it's nice.

I remember the original Command and Conquer. Holy crap I was addicted, until, that is, Starcraft came. Then it lost it's luster.

I only recently (a few years ago now) got Starcraft. I had C&C ages beforehand and liked it heaps better. The only thing that really shone for starcraft were Ghosts, in my opinion.

I loved the level in C&C were you start with 12 GDI commando's and a huge map to construct a military base that even George W Bush would be proud of.
