During a conversation I had with Max last night, he spoke to me about the new Macromedia Studio 8 being released. I could tell he was happy, since the upgrades should keep him busy on the whole site, including Golden Sun World.
That's our Max; one happy tech junkie. :)
I might want to try it out, as well. I've recently been getting into Dreamweaver since I have a class here at school that is currently teaching about the Macromedia Studio programs. I'm sure I'll be able to jump on the bandwagon with the very few programmers we have here soon.

Yep, as I told CBK on MSN last night, the new studio brings some nice workflow improvements. Not only does Dreamweaver now better support web standards, but Flash and Fireworks have added new filters and effects that allow me to improve the graphics complexity without slowing down the animations (much). That will be a big boon for GSW as you can imagine.

Give me Notepad2.exe, anyday, good sir!
However, the syntax-highliting is decent, although it can't compare to some editors like Crimson Editor, Vim and jEdit.
I'm glad this will speed up GSW development though.
EDIT: CBK, I edited the poll to include one more option. I have used Macromedia software before, but not MS8.

I'm fine with my Studio (latest before 8) version.
I'll give it a look eventually of course myself being a Macromedia fanboy.
Flash rocks :) .

I haven't had a chance to use any web-designing software anytime again. I'm content with Studio 7 though, not going to upgrade anytime since I lost interest in web-designing.

That about fills my bill, as well. Though, it wouldn't hurt for me to check it out and see how it runs.

Agatio, the main point of Studio 8 besides adding some minor new features is to increase the usability of each of the programs. They spent alot of time talking with real people who use their products, and they made alot of interface changes that make things much more intuitive and non-annoying. DW8 now better supports CSS and added new accessibility features, and Flash added all the new filters and effects as well as better performance. I definately suggest you download the trial and at least check it out.

Will do (like I said, when I have the time).
I'm looking forward to Dreamweaver too. Most sites I have seen done with Dreamweaver have valid code, but are messily coded, and don't take full advantage of CSS, hopefully this new version will address that.

I was having a look through Studio 8 today (Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks) and it's looking great. Come on people, FILTERS in Flash!!
EDIT: Shouldn't that have added it to my previous post?
