Some of you tech junkies out there may or may have not run into the ocassional 3D avatar chat thing, where it was faulty to a point, but IMVU is rather successful--of course, since technology has advanced a little more than what was brought to you back then.
So, I'll cut all the crap and such since you get the general idea, and give you a look at a couple personal images I took (and edited) from the IMVU messenger. Note that I may add more, being part of my perfectionist side.
First, some MSN icons I made for myself.

Here are some of my avatar, Barrel, in a full-body perspective.

My pet, Horasu (not to be confused with MysticWarrior's alias).

And finally, a little something for GSSF's self-acclaimed pimp. :(

EDIT: To explain it a little bit further for the last image, I was referring to Anubis. But also, I'm referring to the real real Anubis, as in the Egyptian God of Judgement. One of the talented 3D artists in the IMVU community based this off that very same God, but moreover as a reincarnate.
EDIT2: Bwar, forgot to provide a link.

IMVU...*shudders* its alright, except...you should only test out the interactions with someone you know pretty well. (just to save yourself from embarrasment)
from my experience: don't do a love hug ._.;; I can say I embarassed myself pretty well on that thing with my naiveness.
overal, IMVU is pretty nice, but kinda laggy.

I didn't know what the Love Hug was until I tried it ... it made the other person quit our conversation. x_X;
For the lag, you can go to Settings>Frame Rate to change the frame rate (self-explanitory) so you can have a faster experience.

I just don't have time to play around with messaging programs anymore.
And also, it's just that I think this messaging program is kinda for people who need to get out a little more. I seriously mean that in the most sincere way possible. D=

Yeah, I hardly use it. I only tried it out to see what it's like. I don't think I'll ever use it again.

It's cool, but I haven't changed my display pic in two years and I don't plan to anytime soon.
