Well, it's once again time to start the MLB playoffs. Unless you've been living in a hole, you obviously heard of Boston's miraculous comeback last year in the AL final. They were down 3-0 to the Yankees in a best of seven and then came back and won 4 straight on their way to a sweep of the Cards and their first World Series win since 1918.

This year, the war between the Yanks and the Sox started even before the playoffs. For the last few weeks, they have been battling for the AL east title. Yesterday, the season ended and both teams made the playoffs.

There are other intriguing stories in this year's playoffs and you can talk about all of them here.

Last year it was rigged I believe, MLB sales are down due to the Yankees always winning and people are tired of it. I think they lost on purpose.

Of course it wasn't rigged. Boston just blew everyone away. They won't win it this year, though because they lost Pedro Martinez.

Yeah, I don't know if Boston has what it takes this year. If Chicago can keep scoring runs like they did yesterday, they'll be fine. Their only issue is offense, they've got some of the best pitching in the AL.

Well, I am a Yankee fan, so I want them to beat the Angels and the Red Sox to lose. And I am sure everybody changed their minds about Red Sox beating the White Sox.

It's over now, the White Sox have it wrapped up. My mom's family lives in Chicago, so I'm a die-hard Cubs fan, but having a Chicago team in the ALDS would be pretty awesome (even if it is the White Sox)

I used to be into baseball, but right now, I like Football(American) best.

I like the Houston Astros and the Yankees best. I may get to go to an Astros game pretty soon, which will help some nostalgia.

I was so pumped for that NLDS game between Houston and Atlanta last night. Clemens and Smoltz? That was a classic.

I'm not an American or anything so we don't play Baseball, but I enjoy watching it though. One thing I hate about American sports nowadays, people don't play it for *playing sports* or watch it to *watch sports* they play it for entertainment and money.

It is for entertainment if you're watching, but I try to put aside the fact that every minute that passes by, the players in the game are making up to 1000 dollars.

I kind of like baseball, but I guess I've never really gotten a chance to watch it. I don't think Canada has baseball competitions...that or I've never heard of them...or I live under a rock.

How can you people watch baseball? I find it one of the most boring sports to watch. I mean even playoff baseball isn't the great.

Playing it is a different experience. Well, I guess it depends on the position you play. I dislike to watch sports when I could be playing them. Though, I do tend to watch hockey/football when there is nothing to do.

Did anyone see the Astros/Braves game yesterday? 18 INNINGS! That's the longest playoff game in MLB history! I didn't watch the whole thing, I stopped after 12 because it just got boring. Houston won 7-6, so they go on to the NLCS with St. Louis.

I know, I knew the game was going to finish with a homerun, I wanted the braves to win though. And the game had 13 pitchers!!

Yankees are losing 5-2 right now..dam I am pissed.

                                      EDIT: Yankees lost...

Yeah, Yankees usually at least make it to the LCS.

You know, I don't know if any of you have heard of this old cubs story.

The cubs had finally made it to the LCS (cubs haven't won the world series since 1906) and it was like 4-3 or something and the cubs needed one out to finish the game and win the series. The batter flied it out to left field and Moises Alou chased it to the foul wall and when he reached up to make the catch a fan took it from him. Now, as some may know, cubs fans are a large group who take their baseball very seriously. Now this man who stole the catch from Alou was practically shunned by the city of Chicago and had to move away after multiple blackmail and tomato throwing and what not.

                                            Sad story, really.

Did anyone see ALCS Game 2? The call at the end was catastrophic. If anyone wants it to be explained I'll explain it, but I would like to know if anyone watched the game.

OMG! Did you watch the latest Astros game? I like the Astros, but that was annoying. They lost by ONE STRIKE!!! Bases loaded, and they still lost... They were playing, who, the cardinals?

Was that the one where Pujols hit the home run at the last second to win the game? That was awesome. Game 6 is tonight.
