Tingle maybe well known but not because people like him. I still find this hard to believe.

You're basing it on opinion, on a forum where usually you believe your opinion rules, but it doesn't.

You won't know a game is actually good until you've flippin' tried it. Don't even read the reviews, either; most of them aren't very biased.

^ Take a closer look! The game's main characters will be Tingle and some other guy named Oge. If Link isn't going to be a main character, it's likely he won't make an appearance at all.

Yeah well...Erm.. Ok I can't really think of a way to argue back. I suppose it was pretty stupid of me to say that it will be a bad game without actually playing it.
If you want biased reviews you should read the Nintendo magazine in the UK. Now obviously when you read a magazine that supports a company you expect them to lean towards games made by them. But nearly every game that is made by Nintendo scores 90% or just under. They also said that the DS rivalled Gamecube in terms of graphics and nearly went better than that.

I think the game will be fun, but probably a little retarted in terms of theme.

This just shows that Zelda is starting to become what they did to Mario. Nintendo has already started with Metroid with the Metroid Pinball thing.

Yeah and Link should stay the main one. And yeah Nintendo is screwing up their characters. Metroid Pinball, Mario Party, Mario sport games, Donkey Konga... Please stop making this ****. Give us a new Metroid Prime, Mario Bros. or Donkey Kong Country instead. Nobody is waiting for Tingle to screw up the DS and Nintendo's reputation with Tingle RPG. Yeah I can't judge the game when I didn't even played it... Yet I know that Nintendo won't live long enough if they continue with this...

Technically Donkey Kong shouldn't have been Donkey at all. He was originally going to be Monkey Kong but someone misheard and thought it was Donkey. That's what I've heard anyway.

Tingle was a good character in Majora's Mask but after that in every other game they ruined him. Anyway, you really can't say that a game is bad before you've even played it and especially not because of the characters. Ness is a very crap character, right? But Earthbound is actually a very good game.

But yeah, I too think Nintendo is damn crazy. Why don't they make games that might help them win the next console battles?!? Telling their people to make a Tingle game instead of making a new Mario for the Revolution won't help them at all.

Nope DK wasn't supposed to be stupid.
And yeah Me111 is right, Donkey Kong should have been called Monkey Kong.
The reason why Nintendo made DK stupid is because of the name. But they used other things with the name to like, donkey means stubborn to. And yeah, DK is pretty damn stubborn. And then again, Monkey Kong sounds a little bit onoriginal. I think if DK was called "MK" the Donkey Kong games would have died 10 years ago or something. And Universal Studios sued Nintendo for copying their character. Nintendo won the lawsuit because Universal Studios neither owned the name King Kong. Errr this is getting of topic isn't it?

Think about it... Link never really talked and almost all RPG NPCs do talk to you, so why wouldn't Link o.o;...
But there is a big change that Tingle RPG would not be a RPG as we think what a RPG is... Imagine this.

Agreed. Link shouldn't make an NPC appearance in the Tingle RPG. That would be just... wrong. He serves as a link between the player and the game, that's his purpose. He isn't supposed to be an NPC.

Big words aquamarine. Honestly, I'm quite excited about this game coming out, I was just trying to lighten the mood. Anyways, I think that it will turn out like an RPG of Wario Ware with a major Zelda touch, one of the most awesome things imaginable in my opinion for a madness game.
