Ever had an awesome moment in a video game?

I was playing Capture the Flag in the Blood Gulch map on the Halo Trial for PC. There were 3 guys on each team; I was on the Blue Team. I had an Assault Rifle, a Shotgun, and had Active Camouflage on so I was invisible. On the way to the Red Base I ran into a Red Guy with a Shotgun. I took him down with my Shotgun and continued. Then I replaced my Shotgun with a Missile Launcher near the Red Base and took down the 3 guys with it (the guy I battled earlier had respawned) and went inside the base and picked up the flag. Now, the guys all piled into a Rocket Launcher Warthog and tried to take me down as I tried to escape. By this time my Active Camouflage had worn off, so I was just left to dodge their attacks. As I continued to back up they eventually flipped over on one of the hills, so I made a break for it while I could. For some reason, they never caught up to me again. So I just kept on going and miraculously, I managed to get back to my base and score a point to my team. I traveled from one side of the map to the other on foot and still scored for my team.

When I reinstalled Halo, I was playing a 'net battle with Forte.

We were messing around with a warty, when he stood to the side of it.

Forte: "Liscense and registration."
Me: "Uh, I don't have any."
Forte: "Sucks."

He tossed a grenade in the warty. It flipped over and tossed me out.

I was still alive.

I was playing warcraft 3, and the other guy went AFK, and I didn't know, and I built a huge force maxed out, 3 heros. One hero was lvl 4, one 5 and the other i think was 6 or 7, and I sent my army against his 10 peons and like 2 grunts. MASSACRE

I was playing Diablo(I), and was level 50, and had just masscred hell. Some dude wanted to help me fight satan, so when we did, he got the crap beat out of him, and as soon as he died, I took one hit at satan and killed him.

Before I start, I should tell you that yes, the Shotgun is one of my favorite weapons in the Halo Trial.

Anyway, this isn't quite an awesome moment but I didn't want to post it in the Common Room.

It was in CTF on the Blood Gulch map (the only map in the trial). I was on Blue Team again. There was this one guy that just loves to betray his own team mates. He had a pistol, I had a shotgun. He was trying to betray me, and I just said "Aw heck no" and took him down with a shotgun. After that, he just started cussing me out and trying to kill me personally, saying how I sucked and stuff like that. He even said "I don't like you wind dude"

Funny people.

I admit, they did pick a good map for the trial. Blood Gulch rules.

Another awesome moment, even though it's not that awesome. Hero Wars on Wc3. I had a hero lvl 10, everything was like infinite, and the other team (it was 3 vs 1[me!]) and the idiots were only lvl 3, and trying to stay away from my infernals.

Yeah, most of our awesome moments seem to be about times when we were owning noobs. ;)

Unreal tournament, instagib bombing run, the one with the elec fields thing
My pal had the bomb and me and another guy were covering, then we met a group of 5 enemys, the other guy got shot right away and me and the other one were dodging the shots, I start shooting blindly and kill three people and get the bomb passed, I then just ran jumping and when I saw the goal I decided to shoot and I hit from a big distance.....

that will never happen again.. ;), treasure these moments :)

Jet Grind Radio.

I was in either the second or third stage of Shibuya, and I had Onishima on my tail the whole time, too.

The strangest thing was, I believed to had lost him and his police (well, this was my first time around on that level, so, I didn't really expect much), and when I was on the stretch of an unconstructed bridge, Onishima's special tear gas squad started firing on me. And I was so close to the last mark where I was supposed to tag, so I dashed like heck towards the other end of the bridge, where I realized that as the tear gas connected with the concrete of the bridge, it actually almost looking like an action movie or something.

Dramatic details aside, I didn't have time to jump the ramp, so, I tried something next to impossible; wall riding all the way to the other side (yes, there was a building near the end of an unconstructed bridge. It's a game, for God's sake), and then tagged the last mark.

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time

In Sphere 211, the Sealed Levels, I was fighting Enraged Crosell. I scanned his stats, and he was almost done for, with about 50000 HP remaining. He started chasing me for a final attack, and I was Fayt. On accident, I used Ethereal Blast, his ultimate attack, and Crosell ran headfirst into the shockwave, took about 80000 damage, and died. It was a pretty nice moment for me n.n

Ah, I remember owning people at Advanced Wars even though I'd only played a few times and they beat the game at least 3 times each.

Getting Excalibur 2 (three times)... by reaching the third to last boss in the game within twelve hours of starting the game(it has four discs!!!!)
