Another one??? you might be saying. Yes, it's true Mario Party 7 has come out with nothing new about it except the fact that it doesn't use the darn mic anymore and the minigames are slightly newer. Talk about this game or the whole franchise here and please keep flaming to a minimum.

I don't really get why they need to make so many. I think they're just trying to keep Mario new...

It's like how Warner Bros. can't get rid of Bugs Bunny. They just keep making new Bugs Bunny cartoons.

The minigames are getting redundant. I mean, there was a point in making 6, even if it's farfetched, it was for the mic. But there was absolutely no point to make 7. Surely, they can reinvent Mario with other series?

I've got a question. Do the mini games in 7 use the mic or not? Surely they must do or it would be the most pointless add on ever!

There's no mic for 7, it's basically a remake of 4 and 5 except with slightly newer minigames.

Imagine if real board games were like this. You get an ever-so-slightly new version of monopoly every year. Then again they pretty much do that any way.
Surely Mario Party could be one enjoyable game. Then a few years later, when the original starts to get old they could make a new one. Surely it would make more sense then basically presenting the same thing over and over again.

I suppose that it wasn't exactly a big success when it tried to go on GBA. Then again the new controls might allow for some new mini games.
I think that there is a point though when they should stop. Surely the Mario Party barrell must be empty by now.

Rep1 - "Okay, how about a Mario Party 8 on the Revolution?"
Rep2 - "That's a great idea, think of the possibilities!"
Rep3 - "Don't you think we should stop making these Mario Party games? They're kind of taking time away from worthwile games."

I'm pretty sure it's just the same old thing but with unique touch-screen elements implemented into it.
