Well, snow is already falling upon the roof of my household, and I'm starting to think if we'll get more wicked weather as it continues to fall. So, are any of you getting ready to break more backs out in the drive way, and pour more salt onto the most invisible of ice? Maybe not, but I don't care, really. It's snow; deal with it.

Apparently it might start snowing here soon. I really hope it does. A couple of years ago I had a snow day and it was great. Then again it will probably miss where I live.

There is snow in the Netherlands but not where I live. There are alot of trafic problems because of the snow. Kinda weird there isn't snow in here. The Netherlands isn't so big. B)

Seriously, you guys should be happy that it snows where you live. (as long as it doesn't snow too much at least) I live in the Bay Area, and I do like the climate here (very Mediterranean) but the thing is...

If you were born here and were to never never leave the Bay Area in winter you would never have seen snow for real in your life. Kinda depressing if you think about it.

amen. I live even further south than ^ but we do see snow once in a blue moon. I heard that its snowed on christmas and easter in my town, but I hadn't moved here yet. When it does snow, it's melted by the afternoon. For some reason its been REALLY cold here. The average temp. was about 40 F and it was really windy which made it like, 37 F. I know for some of you thats nothing, but where I live, the average temp for this time of year is about 70 F.

I also live right next to some mountains, and that does get snow pretty often. It's really pretty in the mornings to see the mountain tops all white n.n now, if we could only get some of that snow on the ground...

Haha, where I live, you see like hills everywhere. I live near the Silicon Valley, I don't get to see any mountains unless I got to my grandparents, (more North away from the Silicon Valley) but when I'm there I get to see Mt. Shasta from a distance.. :3

Funny, the snow wont stop falling yet it isn't staying on the ground. In fact, it was below 0 degrees at one point then two days later it shoot up to 13 degrees(celsius). Now, it's back down to 5-0 degree mark.

But when you live in the stuff it can get real annoying, we get snow for 1 week sometimes and that isn't enough to annoy me :)

Back to the main subject here. I just found out that some jerk that is in charge of canceling school or something NEVER cancels school in my area, unless there is like a foot of snow. Its supposed to snow a lot tonight and Im praying that its a lot.

It's never enough here. People might take an hour to drive down a mile of street because the traffic is so bad, but they never shut down the city for a day (a curfew). This would be much better, because then the plows would have a chance to do their job, (and I'd get a day off school)!

Well, it was a false hope yesterday. I found out (after watching the Eagles get disgraced) that it was only gonna snow 1 to 3 inches here. It was pathetic, after they said we were going to have a blizzard and about 8 inches of snow. Thats the last time I trust the News.

For us down in BC's lower mainland, we've only got snow for 1½ days. Usually the snow perks up in January. But since we got a bit of snow early December, and the snow in some areas hasn't melted yet, I'm expecting a white Christmas.

A teacher in my school decided to take all the Grade 8's to Whistler for snowboarding, where there actually IS snow, though. But that'll be in February...

Man, I tried getting home today and as I was walking it started to snow. Then it started to pick up and before I knew it I was covered with snow. I ran under a shelter at the bus stop with like 15 other people because it was to dangerous to keep walking. Even as I look outside right now it's still snowing. Damn snow.

I remember when something like that happened to me. I was walking home and it started to snow. About ten minutes later it was a proper blizzard. It was the worst snow I had ever seen.

Yeah we had snow today... Wet snow. But it was hell alot!
Badminton was over so my father picked me up, we had to pick my lil sister up to from soccer training but the game wasn't over yet. It already was damn cold, hard winds and just plain cold but then when we watched my sister play it began to hail a little. Then if began to become worse and worse damn it was the biggest blizzard I ever saw. But ofcoarse... Nothing of the snow stayed. It all melted when it fell on the ground. :o; So I got wet... and that sucks.

I'm just hoping huge amounts of snow falls from tonight until the new year. The last three days of school off and a White Christmas... Shame that no snow has been forcast. Then again they've been wrong before!
