These following games are going to be released in Japan next year. We can only hope that some of them come across the pond (or two in case of Europeans).

Mario Basket 3 on 3: Mario Basketball? Yes, Nintendo is reinventing Mario with another sport, basketball. Being a basketball fan, I am excited about this game. Not.

Tingle RPG: Yay! Tingle! Need I say more?

Katio Wario: Another weird and wacky Wario game, more info to come.

New Super Mario Bros.: You've all heard of it, and it's date is finally pinned down.

The only ones I'm interested in would be New Super Mario Bros. and... *gulp* Tingle RPG...

Everything else looks like teh suxxors I'm sorry to say, never heard of them. Therefore they suck.

Tingle RPG, New Super Mario Bros, and Mario Basketball are the ones I'm watching. Mario sports games always turn out to be fun, and if Mario 3 on 3 Basketball is online, you know I'm going to buy it. Tingle RPG, not gonna come to the USA I bet, but it looks pretty cool. And of course, everyone wants New Super Mario Bros...if only they'd make the game online co-op again like old days...

Then again, the computer on the Mario sports games tend to cheat.

And I know I won't be watching Custom Robo. They failed on the GameCube, unless they're gonna try something better than a bunch of battles between a long length of text.

Don't forget Mario & Luigi 2! THAT'S the game I really wanna have for the DS. And the New Mario Bros... Tingle RPG makes an change but still... Tingle RPG... o.o It still doesnt sound right.

Mario and Luigi 2 comes out, like next month, that's why it's not on the list. And come on people, you can't seriously be excited about Mario Basketball. Mario has already made appearances on NBA Street V3, and I think that's enough.

To be honest I don't really think Mario should keep doing sports. It's kinda dull now.
Unless they use my Mario Table Tennis idea...

Well to be honest it's either that or Mario Polo.
Anyway I'll get back on topic now. I hope this new Wario game is a new Wario Ware. If it's that or a platformer like the Wario Land games then I might have enough of a reason to get a DS.

DUDE. TGS, January, 2005. Nintendo announced that the very first game to be released on the Nintendo Revolution would be an ONLINE SUPER SMASH BROTHERS SEQUEL. GEEZE. Nintendo is ONLY using wifi for online, it WILL be a Wifi SSB.

Yeah, I don't expect to see SSB on the DS. It would just be a downgrade in my opinion, I just want it to stay on the consoles. It would ruin it to try and do that camera thing on such a small screen.

I guess so, but there will still be a lot of time before the Revolution comes out, so, you never know what could happen.

An SSB for the DS wouldn't be BAD... but their probably aren't enough buttons on the DS to support it anyway. I dunno, I don't have any consoles so I haven't played SSB.

What I really want to see is a Nintendo Cats game to "sequel" the Nintendogs games. :3 Eh? Eh? I realize cats aren't as social with their owners as dogs are... so it would be more about making a suitable enviroment for the cats. Good idea, right?!

As for there being a button shortage on the DS for SSB, I don't think that would be much of a problem, considering there are six buttons on the DS and there are six buttons on the GC. The only difference is there would be no c-sticking, and no taunts. B) No taunts...

Buttons work fine. Y is normal attack, B is smash attack, A is jump, Y is jump, Select is taunt, Start is pause, L is sheild, R is grab. But, you can't smash attack without a joystick to smash left and right!

I wouldn't like to see it honestly. SSBR would get all SSB people on the same console, playing the same, awesome game. But, the camera thing would bug me too. I vote we stick with SSB on consoles.

I back up that vote. It would be cool to have a SSB on the DS but SSB has always been a console thing and it should remain that way.

Considering I just beat Tales of Symphonia for the first time tonight, I find this very good news. Is it all knew characters then or what? I've heard that's how the Tales series goes. Any news on the battle system yet?

it's for the gba my mistake and is a remake of the SNES original, kinda looks like FF6, also seen a Final Fantasy IV advance out soon

Also news of FF3 on DS, Dragon Quest Monsters, Seiken Densetsu DS and Children of Mana out for DSD sometime next year

They are making a new Tales game for the DS, "Tales of The Tempest". Apparently it uses the old linear battle engine, which is a shame, cause i was hoping the DS would get a 3D tales, with the "multi-linear" battle engine, like in Symphonia.

But IGN may just be misinformed as usual. So fingers crossed for 3D battles...
