So guys it's almost the end of the year. December is rolling in and Christmas shopping and winter break is just waiting to shoot it's ugly head out. So, let's look back at this year's events on the GSSF. What were your most memorable moments, this year, so far on these boards?

You can tell I am interested to know...... B)

Oh geez, what happened this year in GSSF for me. Well, over the summer I took a much needed break from every forum I was a member of and I came back in early August and posted from 800 to where I am now in three months. GSSF has faltered, but to me, it seems to remain steady at 30%. No real differences have been made in active members, we've gained as much as we lost. However, we have lost some great members, most recently Izar, and I think we should all remember these guys and wish them luck in their real life pursuits.

Anyways, that's all I have to say for now, let's hear what everyone else has to say!

It's just a forum...

Well I 'left' a couple of times earlier in the year before realising leaving topics attract uneeded attention and people getting in a huff about sweet **** all. From then on I realised that it's just a forum, and not to be taken seriously. Lately there has been very few topics that interest me, and it's only the odd new topic like this that catches me eye and keep me coming back every couple of days.

Hopefully sooner or later the rest of the userbase will realise that the real world is a ****load better than some online forum.

Couldn't we change the focus of this topic to happened in our lives this year, rather than what happened on this forum. Otherwise it will the same thing over and over again "I posted", or "I joined and I like this forum". It seems there would be a lot more to talk about if it focussed around our lives rather than the forum.

During the summer I got zee awsome rollerblades, went down a huuuge hill and fell, completly skinned part of my hand, broke my arm, skinned part of my shoulder, ripped my shirt, my knees were completly messed up...

then hrmmm I went to Great America AMusement park, omg was fun but I would have prefered to gone to six flags magic mountain but no1 would take me T_T

I also went to school D: and then err ya o.o; those were the highlights, rest is just boring crap :(

Well in that case. This year has been huge for me.

I got drunk for the first time on a work camping trip, those memories (the ones that I have) will last forever.

I grew my hair the longest it has ever been. That was mad, but eventually it got too annoying so I got it cut.

had my first girlfriend. This was great for the first 2 1/2 months until things started going downhill and we broke up.
I tried a totally new system of education (VCAL), which while it wasn't the right choice for me, I had a lot of fun.

I made a ****load more friends ands became a more social person all around.

And I discovered an amazing amount of new bands and got deeper into music.

Started University and passed A-Levels

Almost choked on vomit (several times)

Joined the game glub at uni and made loads of new friends

became less shy than i used to be

-Did my year nine SATs
-Joined here
-Went to Cyprus for holiday
There's probably more but I can't think of anything else.

This year I became much much more social.
I screwed up my last report. I errr... Well didn't do much for school. Screwed up book reports, shouting at teachers and stuf. I dunno did I became more mature people? I do think so... A shame my mother doesn't but whatever. Really I dunno what to type in here anymore. Im just posting because I wanna let that damn Yoshi hatch. :(

1) Achieved Honour Roll in Grade 8
2) Became TaeKwonDo Assistant Instructor
3) Made it into High school, of course :B
4) Left and came back to GSSF >.>

haha, LOTS has happened this year for me. I'm trying to decide which was more eventful: this year, or last year.

a TON of relationship stuff
Became really close friends with my friend at school
learned a LOT of new "terminology" @.@
got caught talking to you guys by my parents :o
tried out for volleyball and didn't make the team n.n.
brought a sister to christ (huzzah!)
started playing maple story
started high school
kicked a guy in the "area" (for the first time) 'cause he deserved it

and prolly a whole bunch more I could mention, but I can't remember.

In real life... I usually try to look at the nicer side of things but, to put it simply, this was a horrible waste of a year. One of the most awful years I've had. Everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. What sucks most, is that -I- wasn't the one who made them go wrong, and they mostly affected me (like my watercolour painting that was effed up the other day just cause of some careless idiot).

I'm glad I intentionally forgot of all the bad stuff that happened this year though :D.

I just get distracted with other things a lot and then, the only thing I can remember is the horrid feeling that those things gave me.

-Got addicted to Maple Story
-Began to hate Maple Story
-Got un-addicted to Maple Story

=D; I might start playing again but, that's only if I *really* get bored of the games I have now.

Oh yeah, as for what happened on these forums...

-Got into the Top 10.

And that's pretty much it.

This year was pretty good for me I think. Less computers and more social activities. I began to swear alot less and I became even worse at school (like having a 2 aka 20%, or F or whatever very bad for Math on my report card) and I skip leasons more often. And I began to act more like the class clown and ****. Forum wise... i did nothing special, except if somebody knows something I did special... :S

You don't count being bad at school as good do you? I mean, no one wants to be there but at least having qualifications looks good when your getting a job.

This is my senior year of highschool, and to say the least, it owns. I have had a steady girlfriend since summer of 9th grade so for 3/4's of my highschool life ive had a good relationship. So Ill go threw a list

*Quit working at Wendy's, and went to Target(never work fast food, ever)
*Kept a relationship together, but its going to end in May due to college.
*Got my license
*Got MapleStory O_o
*Finally earned my parents respect
*Got great grades in 11th grade, and did **** so far senior year. LOL
*Quit my CS:S Clan
*Joined GSSF and met you people

So mine has been pretty well, so I met you sheba thats pretty cool ;) Also met Anubis though <_<

I just came back from the last day of school for this year. I didn't stay and watch the Christmas assembly we had at are school and now I am starting to regret it. My friends called me up saying they were heading to the mall and I am here alone at home doing NOTHING. Smart move on my part. This year went by so fast I can barely remember what I did this and last year and school.
