This is fantastic! Now PSP users who operate off of Firmware Ver. 2.0.

Through the eboot loaders, you can now use GBA, SNES, GEN, and many other Emulators on the PSP in ver 2.0 firmware, and still keep that magnificent Web browser that comes with 2.0. It's just absolutely perfect.

You can get more information from the creator of the Eboot loaders from one mr. Fanjita at fanjita's website: http://www.fanjita.org/.

Of coarse I By giving this information to you, I don't support the use of illegaly obtained Roms on the PSP. and furthermore only promote the use of legaly made Homebrews.

    Eboot loaders

Edit: Why dousn't the attachment thingie work? Whatever, you have the website so you can just go check it out.

No No No. You don't get it, its not the games, its the principal of finally hacking 2.0. Everyone thought it was impossible to hack, and have been trying ever since it came out, but have failed. But Finally, we can keep the Emulators, and the web browser.

Wait a sec, I thought that you downgraded to 1.5 GD. Anyways yeah. Now the PSP is more capable than ever before. I enjoy playing Chrono trigger on the go as apposed to playing it on my snes. Now it goes with me. Plus the fantastic web browser, apon which I do so addore.

Im having a bit of trouble using the internet browser. I think it's because my wireless router is set so only my families 4 PC's/laptops can access it - (it only allow's 4 specific MAC address's to use it.). I would of thought that my PSP would be negligible in this sort of scenario though?

I know it's picking up the signal because upon creating a new network, it says it has a signal strength of 100%. Funny thing is that is also claims to have no security.

My main problem lies when it says "A connection error has occured. The access point was not detected"
You would think this would happen if I was out of range or what not. But holding my PSP 5 cm's from the modem thingo should definetly be in range...

                    Anyone know what's going on?

Sounds good, but I probably won't download. Once the next version comes out on Firmware it won't allow you to play any new games unless you have the latest Firmware update. This is to try and put a stop to the piracy.

Ok. This is going to sound VERY funny. I didn't even consider that because I didn't think it had one. :P
But upon gueesing where it would be stored on the PSP, I now know that it does in fact have one. Thanks. I'll see what I can do.

Well right now, the manditory firmware version is 2.0, and that's only because they were able to make functioning Iso's for the psp. But now the new games need version 2.0 to work and so would the upcoming ISo's. So that possibility is put to rest. So if nobody finds a way to make ISo's work, then we can continue going on our marry ways. As for the Eboot loaders, they allow for the PSP to play Roms, to use the Browser, and to play the PSP games.............For now atleast.

Nah. It's just a gimmick. Sure its very cool using the net with a PSP but my laptops screen is bigger, it's faster and it has a keyboard. Not to mention easier.

I know that, but still............ It seems like a waste of time. Oh well. For me it's convenient because my little brother and I share a room and sometimes a computer, and thus having a backup internet source is convenient.

They actualy already created a hack for 2.5, just no actual programs to work on it. But I'm still gonna stick with version 2.0. Just for now.

They are actually creating a keyboard for the psp (Im not sure if they did already). Anyway, I just hope that they can hack 2.60 soon. I saved my downgrader, and Roms, because I thought I might need them again one day. Im glad I did. :o . I could probably make a profit off of the real downgrader, since people are scared of that virus.

Much appreciated if someone can tell me when they crack 2.6 and enable use of a GBA emulator with it.

                                          Thanks in advance.

I will of course. :P I'll make it front page news, since I upgraded to it. I bet they will start to crack it in a couple of weeks.

I have firmware 2.01 and i want to play snes and gba games. Is it possible? Help is appreciated.

Oh and advice on how to get movies/video on.

For movies, download and install PSP video 9 (or something like that). Im pretty sure this program itself is 100% legal, but downloading most movies etc is not. So I won't say anything about that.

Anyway, this nifty little program converts nearly anything to the MP4 format that the PSP requires. Simply convert, and move the file to the PSP via the program's easy to use interface. Just make sure you have one of those 1gb + memory DUO's, otherwise it really isn't worth having movies on your PSP IMO.

Other than that, I cannot help you.

No, you can't get homebrew on psp's that are 2.01 and up....at least not yet. We are still waiting for it to be cracked. They are making progress on it, though.

Yes, Psp video 9 is legal...But your safer off geting the PSP media maneger.

I wasn't aware that there was a ver. 2.01 downgrader. I do know that the downgrader for the 2.0 ver. is safe on the other hand. It might make the psp freeze a little if you don't follow the ditrections exactly.
