But I think that Chronicles of Narnia is a game that many people will go for. It's a classic.

Meh, LEGO Star Wars is better. If you think LEGO Star Wars had a lot of button mashing... just wait 'till you play this game. At least LEGO Star Wars had some THOUGHT in the battle moves. e.g., you can unleash powerful "Combo" moves if you chain your Normal Attacks just right. But in this game, you just get two very narrowed-down attacks: Normal Attack and Power Attack. In LEGO Star Wars, you get (for the lightsaber characters) Jump Attack, Normal Attack/Combo Attack, and Double Jump Attack. Each attack has it's moments where it's best. Double Jump Attack is best for taking out alot of enemies in one particular range; but you shouldn't use it TOO much, because when you jump, you leave yourself pretty open to attacks. Jump attack is good on flying/fast-moving baddies. Normal Attacks work, well, normally. Combos are good for powerful bad guys, and can also do pretty well when you're surrounded.
This game is pretty much just a regular hack 'n slash game. If you like button mashing and hacking 'n slashing, then you'd probably like it.

Lego Star Wars, on the other hand was really good (imo). I like how it went through 4 star wars movies, without making each one too long, but long enough to understand what happened in each movie.
My 1000th post :P . I will remember this day!!!!!!

Anyway, I'm not saying that this game is bad, I had fun when I was playing the demo. But I still probably won't buy the game. The battles aren't as fun as LEGO Star Wars' battles, although they are more complex. Basically, what you do to win battles in this game is to strike at the baddies when they're off-guard to throw them off balance, and then press one of the attack buttons like there's no tomorrow until they collapse. Star Wars Battlefront 2 > Lego Star Wars
A clear victory out of the two.

There is more than 2 basic attacks for Narnia. You have the normal and powerful attacks, and blocking ofcoarse, but then you also have attacks that you learn as well. Some attacks that you will never see from simply playing the demo. Not to mention the use of magical commands by Lucy. But aside from that, Edmund, Peter, and Susan can learn other attacks, and not to mention the power up commands that they eventualy gain. I also enjoy the feature for in-combat switching/ being able to switch your character while during gameplay. It allows for a more extensive Gameplay. People that I have talked to compare it to LOTR except it allows for the in-game switching feature.
I learned in life that you should never let some critic's rating persuade you into not playing a particular game or watch a particular movie. I judge for myself.
BTW Wd, how far did you get in the Narnia Demo?

Yeah, you get new skills and such, but I never learned how to use them! They never tell you what button it goes to.
By the way, you can switch characters at any time in LEGO Star Wars too. Although you have to face the target character and then press the "Tag" button.

LEGO StarWars is so crazy fun when you have a friend along. It's pretty Multi-player friendly, since when you die you just respawn automatically. It's very forgiving when it comes to player death.

t get along with games that make me start over. Narnia is sorta the same way, except it takes you to where you first entered the stage. But the stages aren't that big in that respect.
