Kusanagi? Uhm? Weapon's Description Wanted.

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forums, and actually had some trouble before managing to post a topic here. This is my first topic, so, if I do something wrong, go easy on me, please. Also, English is not my native language, so sorry for any mistakes. ^^"

Actually I don't know if this is the right topic, but seen the weapon comes from the password of the First Book, I tought it was ok if I posted it here.

The fact is I don't know what does Kusanagi do:
  • what's its class (light sword, long sword, etc...);
  • what's its attack power;
  • what are its other bonuses, in case there are any of them;
  • And any additional information.
Also, I've heard this weapon can be acquired by going to the Debug Room, though I don't know if it's true.

Any help in describing what the weapon does would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks in advance. ^.~

    "The First Book"? Are you talking about Golden Sun #1? That must be what they call it where you come from...

    Anyway, I'll google it for you and get back to ya.

    Well. I wrote ''the First Book'' so that everyone would understand which GS I was referring to.

    Also, I've tried googling, but I couldn't find it. :X Hope you do better than me. Thanks for trying, at the least. ^.^

      Is this a sword from the English version, or is it translated from the Japanese one?

      Seemingly, I think it's a sword from the English version. You know, there are Japanese names in the English version (Masamune, Muramasa, etc...). I know this can be acquired either via Debug Room or Code trasferring. But I really wished to know what the weapon was like.

        I never visited the Debug Room or even know how to enter it. Also, it's the first time I heard the word "Kusanagi" so I can't help you sorry.

          Hm... There actually doesn't seem to be anything called Kusanagi. I may be wrong of course, but I've just searched for it thoroughly. Are you sure it exists?

          Pretty sure. I've already seen references to it. Coming from both the Debug Room and the Code-Generating Programme. Yet, I don't know what it is. I'm in the least curious.

            i think that's a hacked sword. Some using a Gameshark or another system to input a made-up sword. That's my best guess at it.

              Perhaps the translation is off and it is the Kikuichimonji he is looking for.

                  It's a gameshark code. I heard something about Kunasagi somewhere. I heard about crossbone isle, and it was there, but it was long ago. Oh god, i need to remember this. Oh! I think it was an item in crossbone isle, which is one of those RNG things. It's not solid fact, but I have heard it.

                              So, this weapon can only be accessed through the Password Creator? So, I guess that answers this kid's question.

                                now that you mention it, I think I noticed that there myself. i've always meant to make a bunch of passwords with all those question marks, to see what they all are, but I still haven't gotten around to it...

                                  I've made a few passwords myself off of that generator, but none of them worked. Can anyone tell me why? And it's not because I made a mistake entering the password. I checked over it 10 times, literaly.

                                    The Readme states that if you find a problem with the password generator and you're ABSOLOUTELY SURE that it's correct, you should email the creator and let him know.

                                      I did, he didn't reply. I finally got a password to work though. I'm sure I put the kusanagi on there, but I ended up with two Gaia Blades. I only gave one Gaia Blade to Isaac, and none to anyone else. I gave the Kusanagi to Ivan, and he ended up having the second Gaia Blade.

                                          I think it's in the GS2 General section. n1p posted a link to the site where you could get it.

                                          I'm fairly sure that if transfer the Kusanagi with the password generator, it ends up as another Masamune.

                                          The origin of Kusanagi is a Japanese legend that you'll actually find quite familiar if you've completed Golden Sun: TLA. Wikipedia Article (Very Interesting)

                                            Kusanagi is only accessible by gameshark, codes or any other things that are third party.

                                            Kusanagi is a test item I believe.

                                            It is also Masamune in GS TLA.
