Anyways, Bronze, Gold, and Silver passwords all work.

IIRC, the creator (or someone else) figured out a way to determine which part of the password determined what (djinn, level, etc) and manipulated it with Hex values.

If you want detailed info. on it, contact the creator.

It can mod. any stat on Isaac's party. It can't mod. any starting stat for (Piers, Sheba, Jenna) since the password doesn't affect them at all.

it's awesome! I used it to get 7 mythril shirts, 7 hyper boots, 8 cleric's rings, another Sol Blade, and 30 of every stat booster. it doesn't works perfectly, as it gave me a Hermes Water for some reason, and my characters stats aren't at their max, but they're really high, and I got all the items I wanted....it's awesome!

You download the program. Unzip it. Read the help guide if you need it. In the program you just set all the things you want (i.e. items, levels, stats, money etc.) then generate the password. No cable needed, it just generates the password that you have to enter into your gameboy when you start a new game.

You open the .exe file and a small window pops up. You input your values (number of djinn, items, stats, etc) and then click download (or similar) and it'll copy the password to the clipboard. Then you open up notepad, paste, and there is your password. Save and you're done.

It will work. The ROM of TLA uses the same Password encryption as the cart.

Test it though and tell us your results, but I can almost be 100% sure it'll work.

It will, the program has an entire method for exporting it into the ROM so you don't have to type it out.

Well DUH it's cheating. <_< I would suggest using this AFTER you beat the game... THIS IS AMAZING! My friend is playing it on the VBA, and he has the best stats EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! :lol:

yeah, if you use it right away its very cheap, the game is too fun to cheat like that right away on...however, having all the best stats and equiptment right away for your characters is very nice, so on the second time round, i thinks its fine to use

Yeah. Cheating through a game is boring, ESPECIALLY IF IT'S YOUR FIRST TIME PLAYING THE GAME. AND ESPECIALLY IF IT'S A TURN-BASED GAME TOO!!! I mean, just imagine. In Golden Sun, it's like, 1 hit KO. Doom Dragon! 1 hit KO. Seems a little bleak to me... :blink:

The maximum damage you can do is around 400 with a regular attack, so it is by no means and instant KO on most bosses.

It isn't cheating in some cases, its just that the program has the power to create an ultra-powerful password. All that is really necessary is around level 30-40, and you would easily get through GS2. My friend bought the second game and not the first, so I told him to use this to give him the benefits of playing both games, which is probably all it should be used for.

I think something is wrong with the program. When I used it to create a gold-leveled password, and then entered it, the password was invalid. I double and triple checked it, and I entered it perfectly, but it is still invalid. Silver passwords still work, but something is wrong with gold.

I have tried about 10 gold passwords and they all worked.
What were you specifically trying to do?

Perhaps too many invalid items (10 Sol Blades or something?)

If you figure out the cause of the problem, post it here and I will get into contact with the creator.

This is great program! I just tried to use it, and it generated me a password with Isaac & co. at level 99. I have one question. In gs i was on crossbone isle and beaten that pirate. I sent mine clear data to lost age and when i was in alhafra, i met two pirates, who were talking about isaac and how he robbed crossbone isle. Then they gone away and i couldnt find them. Where they are?

It's true. I've tried, it really works. But I actually used a Bronze password to get the GS1 team all at level 50.

It might not give you the right items sometimes because you might type something in wrong and that wrong password might work but mess stuff up.

I recently started using this program and of course, what does anyone do first? They create a lv. 99 maxed out password. I did this and I applied it to the game but the stats were not maxed out. They were different for every character. Explanation?

Bah, if you are not happy then you simply have to max the stats AND put their level to 01. Then you just have to train Isaac and Co. Their stats will go up while leveling up.


Oh, and about what you said last post, Sea_of_time, it's simply because their stats are set to their original default AFTER entering the password.

Oh yeah, and by the way, add apples, mints, power breads, hard nuts, cookies and lucky peppers in your inventory if you want your stats upgraded, you'll easily be maxed out.

I downloaded the program and made a password that would max out my characters stats, or at least as much as the generator would let me, then I tried the password, double checked it ten times, and it didn't work. I tried three others and they didn't work either. I'd email the guy who made it, but I don't know his adress. can somebody tell me why it didn't accept the password? Because I'm sure I had every symbol exactly where it needed to be.

1st off, about the password, try making a bronze password. If it does work, load that password in the password program and make it silver. If it works, make it gold.

Now it SHOULD work... If not, then you should write down your password more carefully.

Well, I finally got a password to work! ^_^ Lvl. 1 with nearly max stats. :P

NOTE: If you wan't max stats, start at lvl. 1 with the highest stats the program will allow. You will lvl. up quickest at magma rock (pheonixes)if you want them up sooner than mars . Although you will be able to be at max stats, you will have hardly any battle psyenergy at first. Since there at lvl. 1 though, they will lvl. up extremely fast (5 lvl.'s a battle). So if you don't mind having a shortage of psyenergy for a little while, then lvl 1 is best. YOU WILL STILL BE ABLE TO GET ALL THE PSYENERGIES NO MATTER WHAT.

I consider cheating to be something not meant for the game to do. Like getting 9999 HP & PP (I did that once with my AR :P ). But obviously this program was something that was meant to be discovered. All you had to do was find the equation that the program used. Although that certainly wasn't an easy task.

Cheating is more along the lines of bending the game in a way it's not supposed to go, by bypassing, and re-routing data to allow things that aren't supposed to be possible, to be possible. This program isn't bending the game at all.

I went to this one website that gave me cheat codes (this was after I had finished the game, and I just wanted to find out if I missed anything), and there was a password for the Gold. I entered it all in correctly (to try it out), but there was at least 20 letters left to enter in, and all the space had run out. I gave up, but I was still thinking about this. Anyone think that it was a ripoff? :)

If there were 20 extra letters, than yes. But you also could've entered it in wrong. It will space it automatically, so you don't need to do that.

But instead of using that, download the GS Pasword Generator and make your own. You'll be able to get exactly what you want that way. :)

Well, I thought that it spaced it out automatically too, but I just saw that it spaced when it really didn't need spaces. So I found that it was just spaced out as a line right down the middle. Even when I didn't space it out, there were a couple of letters left. :lol:

i can understand why. XD personally, i usually just do the game link transfer, but having to grind in the Venus Lighthouse to get to higher levels and collecting enough tickets to get enough goodies from the slot machine for everyone when your luck is crap takes so freaking long...
