A lot of people say that the DS still has a kiddy-look, a claim that has always seemed to drag Nintendo down. A lot. I hope that it will come out soon to meet my birthday. That would be awesome. But this would mean that I would three DSes... LOL. I PRAY for an Analog Nub and a more durable touch screen.

^ Some interesting ideas. But these are just ideas, not official images.

If they do a black DS, there is even more of a chance I will buy it.

If you recall, at GDC 2005 was Nintendo's announcement of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, as well as the backward compatibility of the Revolution, among other things.
Also, you should note that the above comments by Iwata probably mean that the DS will not undergo major changes (i.e. the addition of an analog stick). It will, at its core, be the same design as before, and with the same functionality, but no more.
(Think GameBoy Advance to SP, and then to Micro; the size and exterior changed, but it's essentially the same button layout, etc.)

I doubt Nintendo would re-design untill sales drop significantly.

And watch, it's likely they will re-design, if you read anything I posted.

I'm looking forward to a new DS design. Anything that's lighter, more comfortable, and cooler looking than it is now would make me happy. The DS is kinda ugly, and playing games like Metroid Prime Hunters is a nightmare =\

WD's Wise Words of the Day: If you can carry a half-full can of soda with one hand, you can carry a PSP (meaning you can carry a DS).

A DS redesign is the only one i've ever considered buying. I never bought another GBA after the original (horizontal is so much better anyway), and a smaller PS and PS2 is just, wtf? If you have plenty of space for the larger one than wtf are you doing buying a smaller one? >.o

The slimline is a very very good device. All that power and hardware in that small space.
