Warning: Major Virus Threat! (A bit OLD'D)

I posted this to members of my forum to give them a heads up:
If you are reading this, update your anti-virus NOW if you haven't done so already, and run a full scan, too. In less than 24 hours, a virus that spreads its way around via e-mail attatchment will possibly corrupt critical files on your computer if it is present on your system!
This virus is known as MyWife, or the "Kama Sutra" virus. It disguises itself as a "free porn" spam e-mail and usually has an attatchment with a .MPEG*.scr extension. (.scr is the key one here). Even if you already don't bother with attatchments on spam messages (which I'm 100% sure everyone here knows full well not to), your computer can still be infected if another computer on your local network has it.
So, take this as a warning. Update and scan now.

LOL @ people who open emails that contain free pr0n.
As if that isn't obvious enough that it's a virus.

I know, but you know there's gonna be some poor fool that falls for it. That, and it replicates itself across local networks, so you never know.

LOL I think I've seen said e-mail before. I can't remember if it was on my dad's account or if it was my mom's, but it sure as heck wasn't my account. (probably my dad's, for obvious reasons)
Not to worry though, this was sometime last year. And since last year, we've had a reinstall.
I agree with n1p. Thank 'ee for the warning, musicman.

I got this email in my junk folder and I laughed. I agree, people who open free porn emails are stupid. XD

Isaac702, how do you know that? Did YOU create it or something?

Hmm...maybe that's why my laptop's registry collapsed...
I didn't actually open that email, of course. In fact, I'm not sure if I even received it.

I dont ever look in my junk folder anyway. I empty it every time I go on the program. I doubt it would do much damage if it was sent to my msn email, i never look in there anyway. Even if it is porn, it's obvious. Might as well create one saying " Virus in here- just open up and see"

Just a reminder:
This virus will hit again on March 3rd, as well as the 3rd of every month from here on. Make sure you check for this virus regularily and be extra careful with your e-mail... if you open everything, that is.
