We have run into a show-stopping problem with our server, which was used as a backup server for previous server tests. I'm trying to get in contact with our primary server guy, but I haven't seen him in awhile. Therefore, I need someone to donate some small space and resources on a dedicated server to run a server test. We just need Java installed and only need about 50MB of space (but a bit of bandwidth). If you have a server available or know someone who does, please contact me. Otherwise I won't be able to run this server test until I can raise enough money to rent one.

Server as in, dedicated? I have hosting on Godaddy til the end of the month, but I'm guessing you need a lot more than just bandwidth to run GSW.

We could always do a donation program, to help you get the money to rent a server.

EDIT: Until the 27th of this month, I've used...
Disk Space: 50.00 MB of 5000.00 MB
Bandwidth: 237.01 MB of 250000.00 MB

So, I've got plenty to spare for right now. I'll probably downgrade after this though, so, if this can work, I'd be happy to help. I'm just worried that you need someone who owns a complete server or something.

Blink, unless GoDaddy lets you install Java and run your own applications (which I highly doubt), then I'm afraid that won't work. But I really appreciate the offer.

I'm guessing not, since I use it through an FTP program, and that pretty much only does file transfering. Sorry.

Max, I can see with my host. He is flexible about these things if he knows what they're for.

However, I won't be able to contact him until later this week.

            47GB of bandwidth enough?

Yes, that would most likely be enough. I will send you a link over MSN to the detailed requirements.

Sorry Reaper, but the next test won't be for a while, and I think the server problem is already sorted out. Be sure to stick around though, and you'll find out when the next test comes up.

All servers come with a specific amount of bandwidth attached. The bandwidth measures the amount of traffic it can handle. If that bandwidth is exceeded, the server crashes.

Let me close this topic now so people don't get confused. We found several satisfactory servers, and we are no longer in need of a new home for GSW. Thanks for your offers, but we have the situation under control.
