I know how sick of hearing about virius are but this one just got me. Titled 'BlockChecker'. Simple enough someone who has it starts a convo with you, the message comes up (see msn convo) and if you're dumb enough (i was <_<) It installs and does nothing for you. You can't delete it, i had to run Microsoft anti-spyware and it detected it in no BS 5 seconds. Talk to MR, i opened a window to see who it was and it came up. http://img239.imageshack.us/img239/4104/untitled20jm.jpg

    Just a heads up.

      tsk tsk. Silly boy.

Why would you want to know whos blocked you on MSN anyway? If they've blocked you, they obviously don't want to contact you anymore, so why are you trying to contact them?

I don't block anyone anymore. Except for all my sisters freinds, whom acquire my E-mail address via her. Others I just delete off my list, so if for some reason they want to talk, the option is still there. *shrug*

        heh...

        First off that's OLD'D
Secondly, that's spyware, not a virus. Still you wanna get rid of it anyway.

Just about all my real friend have it. <_< At the same time I think it's a scam to get your username/pw

If you were smart you should have guessed that this would happen. This block checker thingy is obviously not affiliated with MSN, which makes it either an illegal hacking program, or some sort of spyware/virus/etc.

            Split:
Just because something isn't affiliated with MSN that does not make it bad. I have many patches installed which are not endorsed by Microsoft as far as I know. Have I gotten any virus or spyware from them? Nope.

And next time do not insult/bring down someone level like that, it's not nice and people do get angry when you call them pseudo-intellectual.

              I fell for it....

How can you get it off of your machine? I have Ad-Aware (basic) and AVG Anti-Virus.

It's off mine. I installed it, but for some odd reason MS Anti-Spyware removed it.

Meh, I couldn't delete it without a anti-spyware program so I assumed the worst, but good to hear I'm not the only one who fell for it.

Split: Mate, ever heard of patches or plug-ins for programs?

Pardon me, I sometimes get like that after a long day at school.
