These are my speed runs for the week of march break. I will update this as I progress. SPOILERS probably.

    Final Fantasy 2/4
I'm playing FF2 for GBA so it's FFIV Advanced.

-I'm at Mysidia after beating Mt. Ordeals and becoming a Paladin. I saved outside after the Elder gave me his speech and Porom and Polom joined. Time: 1:12

    Metroid Fusion

-I'm in Sector 4 (AQA), first save room after Navigation room with a time of 0:15
-I'm in Sector 3 (PYR), first save room after the navigation room with a time of 0:21

So you're trying to beat the games as fast as possible? This sounds interesting, I should see if I can try this!

I can never get through games quickly. I always try and go through them as quickly or slowly as I want. I know I'll get there in the end. Then again some people might just like the challenge.
I remember seeing a guide to beat the original Metroid Prime as quickly as possible. I think the time they mananged was about 2-3 hours.

There are advantages to going slow but you can't show off game times if you go slow. Which is exactly why people play through games fast.

If I remember right, at the end of the first metroid for the N64 she takes off her suit at the end if you beat it fast enough. I think it has to be within 1hr. & 30 min. to get that though.

Um.. I didn't think there was a metroid game on N64. You're right about different times getting different endings though. I guess that's another reason for a speed run.

I believe he's referring to the first Metroid on the NES. Me111 is right, I believe, there was no Metroid games on the N64.

No metroid game on the n64 and I don't care about seeing her without a suit off....
