Just entirely curious. But what's your typical weekday like? I'm talking how it usually is, not the occasional tangent or change to your schedule. Fairly straightforward, I'll begin.

I typically wake up at around 5:30 AM. Shower, Dress, and get myself ready, and usually 45 minutes to an hour, I'm at my bus stop. I take a local bus, then transfer to a subway, and then another one, and the commute usually gets me to school by roughly 7:40.

That's enough time for me to get to my locker, and then have a quick breakfast perhaps. My school begins at 8:00AM, lasts ten periods and ends (on a normal schedule) at 3:30 PM.

But I usually never leave then, as I have clubs that I participate in, as well as practice for Track and Field and Ultimate Frisbee. It varies considerably with the club (Spectator, the school newspaper, about half an hour, Science Olympiad, about an hour, and Track/Ultimate Frisbee goes well past two hours).

So it varies when I return home. I can arrive as early as 5:00 PM, or as far as 7:30/8:00 PM. Then the usual, shower, have dinner, relax for about half an hour on the computer or playing games, then I get straight to work.

Due to the fact that I'm taking some four Advanced Placement classes, honors, etc. my homework usually puts me until around midnight, 11 if I'm lucky. Then I chat with my friends some more, and finally go to sleep.

So yeah, that's a nice routine summary for me. How about you?

      7:00 AM: Wake up.

7:15 AM: Get out of bed. :P Have a shower and get changed into school uniform.

7:30 AM: Have breakfast and brush teeth. Then do whatever I want.

7: 50 AM: Listen to guesses for the 'secret sound' on the radio.

8:00 AM: Pack books into schoolbag and leave house.

8:10 AM: Arrive at school. Put appropriate schoolbooks into locker and head to library for some net-surfing. Chat with friends as they arrive.

8:30 AM: Collect book from locker for first two periods of the day.

8:40 AM: School begins. Boredom ensues.

10:45 AM: Recess. Hang out with friends, or get back on the computers. Collect books for next two periods.

      11:00 AM: More school.

12:50 PM: Lunchtime. Much longer than recess. Buy food from canteen, and perform normal recess activities. Collect books for next two periods.

1:45 PM: Last two lessons of the day.

3:30 PM: It's over! Pack homework and leave school.

3:45 PM: Arrive back home. Have afternoon tea and play PS2.

      4:30 PM: Start homework.

6:00 PM: Finish homework, usually. Have dinner.

6:30 PM: Finish off homework, if there is any left. If not, kick back and watch TV.

8:30 PM: Go to bed and watch a video.

9:00 PM: Turn off TV and fall asleep.

11:00 PM: Sneak into study for some late night forum-ing.

Midnight: Go back to bed and hopefully wake up the next day. :)

i wake up at about 7:30 a.m., have breakfast, which only takes about two and a half minutes (i'm a very fast eater), then shower (if needed), get dressed, and then i just...wait...yeah...for some reason i can't sleep past 7:30-7:40. Anyways, the bus is supposed to pick me up at 8:30, yet it usually gets to the bus stop at 8:50-9ish. So i'm always late for school. At around 9:30 i get to school, then i have second breakfast at the school cafeteria (just to get to class even later), and finally, around 9:40 i get to my first class. From then on, boringness ensues until 12:05, which is when lunch starts. I grab some food, eat quickly, and then head to the parking lot with my friends, where we do...things...we're not exactly supposed, nor allowed, to do at school. At 12:45 the bell rings to go back to class. If i'm still in school campus, i go to class. I say that cause sometimes my slacker friends and I sorta jump the fence and go somewhere else. We usually return for 4th period. And then, at about 4:20 pm, the final bell rings, and I head to the buses area to find my bus, which usually leaves at around 4:35. I finally get home anywhere between 5 and 5:15 pm. After that, it's all random. I never know what my afternoons have in store for me.

I get 5 hours of sleep myself. I go sleep usually around 10/11 and get up 4:00, studying in the morning is the best thing guys, try it.

              Ok, this is mines:
I get up at 4:00AM, I do studies until 6... I learn allot in the morning really, no distractions, no TV on.
At 6:00 I do the usual get ready for school, this includes Saturday...
I reach home at 4/5:00 every school day except Thursdays where I reach home around 7nish...
When I reach home I usually use the PC and play games until 6:00... Do homework and studies until 10... Go sleep... Get up at 4... That's it.

I wish I could sleep for only 5 hours. I need at least 7 hours, and the 10 hour long sleep on weekends quite bothers me. Anyway...

                Wake up at 7:00AM.
Dress and finish what I have to do in the bathroom till 7:15.
Drink coffee till 7:25. School bus arrives to pick me up.
Arrive at school at about 8:30. Talk to friends until school starts at 8:45.
I'll skip the whole school thing.
School finishes at 2:15 or 3:00PM(Depending on what day it is).
Takes me an hour, give or take ten minutes, to get home. That's about 4:00PM.
Having lunch takes me half an hour.
Then I watch TV or play games for an hour or two(depending on how much I have to study).
At about 6:00 I decide I have to study. I study for half an hour(much less than I should, but it's BORING).
Then I meet a friend or just play games. If I meet friends, I return home at about 11:00 or 11:30 PM and then have a hurried shower. If I play games, I'll have a shower from 10:00 to 10:30(a LONG shower).
After that I go to bed and fall asleep after half an hour.

                Quite boring actually.

Well... The thing is I usually just tell them I've finished my homework(because they have no idea how long I've already studied throughout the day) or just... go to my friends place without telling them(if I know they won't let me). That really pisses them off!

well...basically I'm in dire need of community service hours; if i don't get'em done soon, i won't be able to graduate...with that said: yesterday, I was walking towards my bus, when a friend of mine, who's in the voleyball team, tells me "hey man, do you wanna stay and help set the courts up for the match?", and i replied "do i look like i love school so much i wanna stay afterhours?", then he said "the coach will give you service hours".......*pause*.........."fo shizzle". Anyways, i stayed, helped set up the court, and had to stand there the whole time cause i was one of the line judges :(

Off topic here but to GL and Eugine, there was a piece on the news the other day. As normal it was a bunch of American scientists, they were studying how much sleep an average person needs and the long term effects of not getting enough sleep. They recommend about 7.5-8 hours each night (I do around 7-8) and some of the long term effects of not getting enough include: Increased stress levels, a cause of early death and a higher risk of getting diabetes.

What I found funny was that they took two groups of teenagers, deprived one group of about 45 minutes of sleep each night and the second group they made stay up all night off the last day of the test, funnily enough on the last day, the group that was deprived off sleep was sleeper then the group that stayed up all night!

interesting...well...both extremes have bad "side effects" in the long run. Sleeping too little has negative effects, sleeping too much has negative effects too. Or so my aunt tells me.

Yes sleeping too much does make you tired as well. Take it from my personal experince of term break, at least 10 hours a night ^_^ so good.
