Curses

Is it possible for me to completely remove curses from the item (I mean completely)? I ask this because I have been going through Crossbone Isle (and as you likely know you find some of the best items in the game there). Unfortunately, many of the weapons/armor are cursed and therefore once equiped cannot be removed. I hate having to go back to Sanctums (or sometimes I've found it to be called a Healing Shrine) to get the item removed.

Cursed items are cursed and they will always be that way. However, you can nullify the effects of a curse by equipping a Cleric's Ring, which is also found in Crossbone Isle. There is only one in the game.

The Cleric's Ring only removes the "curse" of not being able to attack during battle. If you equip cursed weapons/armor, sanctums are the only way of removing them.

You can only get one in GS, but if you use the password creation program to make a password, you can have as many as you want.

I think there's a Cleric's Ring in TLA too. This should be in the Help forum, btw.

It must feel really cool being able to say that. Hehe.

I was really annoyed at first when I started using the Cleric's Ring before I realised it doesn't actually remove the curse. :P

Does the cleric's ring allow you to remove cursed items w/o a sanctum?

Unfortunately it does not, but not having your character with the cursed items being able to work normally is good enough

The cursed items were introduced into the game to make players think about how badly they want to use a cursed item with the risk involved. Even with the Cleric's Ring, a better item may come along and you will probably want to equip it. And we all know the importance of a balanced party.

ya cursed items are a pain when you put it that way. Sorta why i sell them instead of use them until i get the clerics ring. Cursed items also you don't really see until way farther in TLA and GS.

I put all my cursed items on Garet, so only one Cleric's Ring is necessary. It might be possible to hack seven extra Cleric's Rings through the password generator, however.
