I swear, every damn teacher in this whole school hates me. FIrst I get in trouble for not having a ****ing role model. I don't want a role model and I don't need a role model. Week's worth detentions

Then, random teachers I don't know glare at me in the halls and tell me to shape up and get my act together.

While serving one of my detentions, I asked the teacher if I could do my English assignment. He said yes, and I began reading. Well, the teacher left the room to take a dump.

Another teacher walked in and yelled at me for READING during a detention. 3 more ****ing detentions.

I haven't had ISS for over 3 months, but that could change soon.

What do you need a role model for? Some sort of assignment?

No.. It was a discussion in class, and I was asked who my role model was. I replied that I didn't have one. The teacher asked if there was anyone who I wanted to be like or as good as. I told him that there wasn't anyone I wanted to be as good as, because I wanted to be better than them. Why be as good as someone when you can be better.

He yelled at me, said I was arrogant, and sent me to the office.
          BS.

I hate it when the man does that. the man always gets me down.

Teachers hate me too, but I think it's coz I'm special  nothing to do with laziness at all, nope

Just deal with it, there's nothing you can do about it (unless you duke it out or summink, which could potentially be fun in a way :P)

I mean at least you weren't told off for being tired like I was. I actually started laughing at the stupidity..then i got in worse trouble :P

Yeah, high school is worse. Not as much of the short-leash treatment, but you're expected to be responsible and mature and all that crap that I won't be until I have a steel hip and a shuffleboard trophy at my retirement home.
Although... they don't crack down as heavy on kids that don't care in the slightest about what you're learning. Learning stuff is considered the students' responsibility in High School and especially in college. I don't know, but it seems like high school teachers are more tolerant of my endless streams of sarcastic and satyrical remarks about everything.
Maybe I just got nicer people in high school, but there does seem to be a trend. My advice, deal with it; jerks like him are a fact of life and you're gonna have to learn how to deal with such individuals sooner or later. And don't expect things to get better, that way you won't be disappointed when they don't. We've all had unbearable teachers, four stand out in my mind, but we've all gotten through it. You will too.

For me, High School is much better than Jr. High. I ****ing hate Jr. High...

Anyway, you should tell someone (prefferably your Principal, if he isn't angry at you) about this stuff.

I'm not. I just have a 16 year old brother and I've seen the kind of things he has to do for homework...it's scary.

I get into trouble all the time! My whole class does! But we don't have punishments like detentions or community service... For us they just call our parents and say what we're doing or they give you an F.

Also, my teachers are great, because, just like I said, I get into trouble and do f*ck all the time, but they never phone my parents and in the end I get away without even the promised F! Yay!

Same here Aqua, we all get in troubles and get called. Although I gave a wrong number so teachers cant call my parents. :P And still most of my teachers really dont like me because I talk way too much.

Today I got a 4.5 (out of 10 which means perfect) for my Economics because the teacher has this kinda method, if you do something he dont likes you will score 1 point less on your tests. Well I had -4 so I basically could have an 8.5. :P So Werebarret your not the only one...

                                      >_> Wish I could get away with all I do. I got in trouble for attempting to buy out all of the school's cookies and sell them at vastly inflated prices. I got in trouble for using school property for a profit.

What I hate is when teacher's keep the entire class in because they're too bloody lazy to punish independant students for disrupting the class. :P

Man, if this is starting for you at 14 you are gonna be dead in high school. I was a good kid before and teachers hate me in high school now. But you get through it by skipping a few classes and being what the teachers hate. That's how you stick it to the man.

I'm not. I just have a 16 year old brother and I've seen the kind of things he has to do for homework...it's scary.
Eh, High School's different for everybody. Some of it depends on what classes you get, and what teachers you get for those classes. The way High School is, you'll either have hell, a blast, or you sleep right through it and don't learn a thing. XD I'm a Freshman (beginning year) and I'm having a hell of a time... in the good way, I mean.

Besides teachers and classes, all you need to have fun in High School are good friends, a good attitude, and a cute girl as a love interest to give an incentive to come to school everyday (but THAT is a completely different subject)

Anyway, my school goes by a "Block" schedule. Instead of six classes a day we only get four. Classes are 1 hour and 30 minutes long rather than just 1 hour. We get less homework, but more work during the day, and if we miss a day of school we miss a lot, but the day also seems to go by faster. :P

WD is absolutely right, if you have a group of friends and a girl, it makes high school a whole lot easier, even if you're not "popular". If you don't have those things, well it's a whole lot harder.

Our classes are 1 hour and 15 minutes long and we have five periods a day. However one or two of these are spares so we usually only have three or four classes a day.

The important thing is I've got a lot of good friends. If you want to live and see the end of schoole, then having good friends is the most important thing. Even more so than having good marks.
