Haha. Your name is actually very nice and unique, I'd definitely consider it for a possible future daughter.

I also like my own name, and I'd rather it not be shared with anyone else (at least not sons/daughters; perhaps grandchildren?). But I'd certainly consider the next best thing, the name I was supposed to have had (Malik).

(you can probably guess which one). or It would have to be in the middle name, like mine was.

Son: Pasquale (Italian for Patrick) has always been one of my favorite names. If I ever get a son, his name WILL be Pasquale! Other names I've considered are Luigi (Not because of the Mario games. >.>) and Giancarlo.

Daughter: Mara and Dana are my two top choices. Those are both names of my first cousins, and I love them. I'm also considering Maria, Michelle, and Lucia.

Actually, my mom was going to name me Malik when I was born. The name has Middle Eastern roots (it means "King" in Arabic). And Jenna is just a pretty name, I honestly wasn't thinking of GS when I considered it.

For me, the challenge with coming up with a name for a kid is that my last name just does not have many names that flow well with it. At least, not to my ears. But I do think Vincent is a cool name that sounds good with my last name. If/when I have a son, I am naming him Vincent. And no, I do not plan on buying him nothing but red, torn clothes.

But there are some names I would never pick, Homer being one of them. Pop Culture has ruined so many names. I know a guy named Bart, and he has spiky hair too. But he also used to play linebacker on his highschool football team, so he's a big guy. So we never bugged hiim about his name.

I have a few ideas for names, but the problem is, most only sound good as the full name, yet the common nickname that they would be associated with would not sound as good. Richard sounds so much better then its nickname, which unfortunately, is one of the censored words. And William sounds better then Bill. You see what I mean?
