The Other Side is a RPG. I am making it with RPG Maker XP.
I am making alot of progress on it and will soon have a demo up on my Site.

www.isaac702.profusehost.net ( There is a Website up now so now there is a Website and a Forum )

I am just posting now with a brief introduction on the game and if there are any questions.

    Character Bios's

Sam and Sarah are interchangeable depending if you choice a male or female character at the start of the game

    Sam
    Male
    25

Sam is a member of the Alaisean Guard, and is fequently sent off on missions to the backwaters of Alaisea on Patrol.

    Sarah
    Female
    26

Sarah was born and lives in Relton. She frequently wanders off into the forest to think about her life and her future.

    Jean Parmazan
    Male
    31

Jean is a Specail Detective, but not a very good one. He has the habbit of wandering around in rediculus descises, while tring to get information for his case

    Plot Line
Millions of years ago there were 2 worlds, one was prefectly normal but the other was a world filled with powerful socerers and magicians.
After many years of war and suffering it was desided that this world was to be sealed away in a Dimentional field, however now the field has started to fail. Your mission is to find out why and stop it.

Wow, sounds pretty good! Just one question, is it set in the swords/magic times or is this in the future? Or maybe the today world? Another question: About how long will the game be?
Anyway, lookin' forward to seeing this.

Well If you want me to select from the ones above it would be "sword/magic times".

And Im not sure how long it will be, The demo will be a hour and a bit and plan to have it up this weekend sometime. Then I might get so more responces as you will have something solid to question on

Ye the Forum went down last night for some reason or another. THe important thing is that it is backup now.

I dont know why it went down but still.
In other news I almost have the demo done so i might have it up quicker than I thought

It'll be interesting to see how far it goes. In the past, I've maybe tried making a game for about a week then lost all motivation.

I can help with any graphic art work, you know. I've been working with RPG Maker for a long time. It can be entertaining, beleive me. I stuck with 2003 because I loved the side-view battle as opposed to the front. It worked beter with my spriting capabilituies.

I think your forums went down again. :D The page doesn't load entirely. Just the network links.

And I'm currently learning how to use html, so I might be of some help in the future. Oh, and after I finish with html, I'm going to learn php. So if there's anything needed in that dept., I can help, once I finish learning it.

Here's some advice, Isaac702. Before you start with the site, you might want to submit it to an RPG maker site to get soem feedback from real makers.

I might get around to it eventuly, but i will start with the site I have setup.

In other business I have put up a short demo on my site,
It would be good if you gave some feedback

Oh and as for the forms It seems my hosting provider takes all forums offline at night. Dont ask me why. I will get around to finding out why soon enough and if it cant be sorted I will move to a different provider

Well Im not sure about that but what I can say is that I have located the dll file needed and have put it up onto the webpage on the other side's page.

However you may need to download RGSS RTP Standard, which is the software that the RPG Maker Games Run on. You can obtain this from the offical site.

Edit: Everyone please redownload the demo again, Some other forums I have posted it on found a few crucal errors

Ok well thats not that much of a problem. It just means that you dont have 1500 gold. collect it and go back to him.

In other news, I have put up a new demo that has less glitches. The Origonal has quite alot that stop you from compleating the demo
