Yeah, I got them two weeks ago. Yeah, they sucked for a while. But I don't notice them as much anymore except for when I'm eating.

So, does anyone else here have braces or is getting them in the near future?

I got them around 4 weeks ago. They make me feel like an old man when I eat stuff. The kind that needs to have their foods chewed because their teeth hurts.

Wow, not only does he act like a grandpa, he feels like one too.

I had them for a year. Now I have a retainer.

yeah, I've had mine for almost two years. You'd think I'd be getting them off soon, but nooo. 'cause my orthodontist is an idiot >>. he's worn off the bottoms of my top teeth from they way he put the brackets on.

yeah, sometimes they get annoying. last night I was eating dinner and I kept poking my cheek from my braces; it was a pain in the rear-end.

I haven't had braces or fillings on my teeth at all. It's weird because I tend to drink a lot of coke and I sometimes forget to brush my teeth. :P

I had braces for a year and a half. Although I didn't really feel them anymore I was glad when they were taken out.

                Never had filling either

I've had 3 or 4 fillings, I've lost all my baby teeth, and if my new teeth don't come down right, I'll probably have to get braces. D:

Me111, that's not what causes you to get braces. That just causes cavities. XD

I know from my friends you start spit talking, which looks sounds pretty funny too.

I never had braces, luckily, I would hate having them.

I've got braces, but they are removable, so I only wear them at night. They don't bother me too much. Though they can be quite painful. Ouch!

I've had them since september. My teeth don't need moving a lot though, so I should be getting them off in a couple of months. I know some people who ahev had to wear them for at least 2 years.

The only problem with braces once their off, is that you have to wear a clear plastic mold on your teeth to keep them from getting crooked. But usually that's only for a while I think.I know that 'cause my sister got hers off the summer of last year.

I never knew my braces were so cool compared to all of yours. All I have to do is put my hand in my mouth, take them out and that's it! I can go all day without them! And then, before going to bed, I just put them back in my mouth. Or I don't if I don't want to. My braces rule!

At least the ones today are a lot smaller than the braces from about ten years ago.

Thankfully i've never had such problems. My classmate has to wear the night-braces, they're shining in the darkness ^^

I've had mine since Feb. Biggest pains are no corn on the cob and the ulcers they cause -_-

But they're not as bad as I thought. But again I do hate the ulcers and how the left over wire cuts the inside of your cheek.

And, Aqua, by removable braces, do you mean you use a retainer? x.x

I had them to close a gap between my teeth, I had them for 9 months and now I have a retainer, which I never wear and now my teeth have started to move back. So I have been wearing it ALOT hoping it will push them back...>_<

My sister's were really bad. Had 5 teeth removed then braces for 2.5 years, didn't wear her retainer so her 5k smile is phucked. Parents=Pissed!

You know they really aren't that bad, and it's good that so many people have them now so if someone tries to bag someone know one really cares.

I can go all day without them! And then, before going to bed, I just put them back in my mouth. Or I don't if I don't want to. My braces rule!
                                                            You mean the "invisible" kind?

By the way, the more you don't wear them, the more you'll have to CONTINUE to wear them...

Actually, if you don't wear them for long enough, your teeth will just go back to "normal". -_-

Anyway, a few years ago I didn't wear them all the time and the dentist was all like "You'll need real braces soon." so I started to wear them and now my teeth are much better. Yay!
