It's a little early, but Happy Easter to my fellow Christian brothers and sisters and to everyone else! It's great to be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus this year as a full-fledged, born-again Christian! I hope the Easter Bunny brings you guys a TON of chocolate this year, too! (Or money, it's just as good, lol.)

PS- Tune in to Channel 246 on DIRECTV starting tonight and give praise to God from now until Sunday with Songs of Praise, a repeating hour and a half of soul-filled songs that will feed your inner desire for God and His teachings!

    Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to you also. I was just watching some services relating to the Easter vacation. Not much people celebrate Easter here so you'd get many posts saying "I'm no Christian", or to the extent... OR none at all :D

None the less, good to see a fellow brother in Christ.

What denomination are you, Eugine? I'm a Pentecostal, but not like those crazy ones with snakes you hear about, hehheh. We're a little tamer than that.

Ahhh.... I've heard of that denomination. I mean, I know you just said you don't have one, but anyways, you know what I mean. Well, it's mighty rare to find another believer in these forums with other teenagers, but I'm happy that there are others here.... =)

Kind of weird making an Easter topic on Good Friday, but yeah. Happy Easter.

I think I'm probably a little more relaxed about my Christianity than you guys, but that's just the religion itself, my morals for real, physical and social interaction are probably just as high. Then again, I haven't gone through the stages leading up to and the actual confirmation yet, so I guess my faith isn't as solidified yet.

Anyways, yeah, I'm catholic, so a definate Happy Easter to all of you! :D

I'm glad that there are people out there who still understand the true meaning of easter. its not about the chocolate, but believe me, I'm SO not oposed to receiving candy :D

There are 14 or so stations dedicated to Jesus's walk to Calvary. You say a prayer at each one as you go around the church. there are icons of each station, usually.

I've never heard of such a thing as "stations." Is this a denomination-specific thing or do some do it and not the others?

I'm Roman Catholic, so I'm guessing it is denomination-specific.

I usually get nothing. Since Easter means very little to me and I'm not the kind that always want's something I don't even get anything. But I don't care, since the only thing I usually want are sweets and candy. Though I quite rarely want those too. And whenever I want candy I just go to the shop round the corner. Hooza!

HAPPY EASTER! (For real, this time. :D)

I guess I've never really been concerned with Easter before this year. I became born-again in October, so.... If my calculations are correct (and they might be a bit off), I've been saved for:

                                                5 Months, 2 Weeks, and 3 Days

I might be off a couple days, but I don't think I am. Then again, that means that I probably am, with my luck.

Easter Services todaaaaaay! I love going to church!

Then again, I love seeing how services are performed at different churches...probably since my family so routinely uses the EXACT SAME PARISH EVERY FREAKIN SUNDAY. It would help if we had better priests too, since 2/3 of the time we get the "Game Show Style" one.

And Kemosabi, no religion pushing plz. If you really want someone else to experience being born again, the best thing to do is to influence their lives first, become a huge and important person to them, and then, only then approach them, and only once, so it has to be at the right time. Born-agains have a bad image because they can be so enthusiastic when someone doesn't want to hear about it...so maybe you can help clean up that image. :D

I don't recall pushing my religion on anyone. All I was doing was expessing my enthusiasm. And as a Christian, I know how to help others see the Truth, by the way. Oh, and born-agains might be enthusiastic, but this enthusiasm is often what spurrs others to become Christians. And people don't have to listen.

It's a good idea to hatch those eggs in your sigs. I got a lot of chocolate, too, for the record.

My Church was a little more enthusiastic than ever since the Pastors changed. Those stained-glass windows looked stunning.

MD...are you one of those people that only comes to mass on Christmas and Easter? xD

Geeze, the church was so full today. And then the pastor went crazy with the holy water...we probably would have been dryer if we stood outside in the pouring rain. You know in the movie A Bug's Life, when they're running from the giant water drops? Yeah, it felt like that.
