Now he's sued the Florida Bar Association for their complaints about his actions.

Why don't they just remove his right to practice altogether? It's obvious that he can't practice correctly and he sues anyone whose thoughs opposing him. Next, he should sue himself for continously losing his lawsuits...

Heh, even the Florida Bar thought that he was nuts. They tried to "SLAPP" him? Great stuff. :D

I wonder though, is Thompson really loony, or is he just doing what he thinks is right as a Christian?

He also sued gamers who made a fundraiser to send him flowers with a letter saying they don't agree with his actions, but that he's partially right.

He said 750$ worth of flowers were a way of "attacking" him.

Man. He IS crazy. I'm a christian and all, so pretty much the only "M" rated game I play is Halo. An sure, some kids are influenced by these games, but alot aren't. But my opinion is, that companies shouldn't be making so many M rated games, but at the same time, there isn't much you can do to stop it.

Developers should develop less M rated games? Naw... there isn't much anyone can do. Just, stores will have to stop passing out games to minors, and that's it. The only thing left to do is up to whether or not parents go out to buy these games for their kids.

Unless I'm wrong, this being the internet and all, we're all people who've at least played one Mature game, even if it was for less than five minutes and aren't serial killers. It's either that Jack Thompson's paranoid about what this world is coming to, or that his beliefs are clouding his common sense.

You'd be suprised how many people think violent media messages lead to violence. Then again, it's because of the media that they think this because the rare cases are blown out of proportion. I find it very very insulting. However in some ways he's right. After all, if I ever met him I might display signs of violence XD jk

I'm pretty sure he'd actually go to the trouble of making a hotmail email address, then sending the link to his normal email with the link to the topic in it, and then claim it to be one of us.
