In this topic, we will discuss the subject of munneh. Tell us about your current income, your expenses, your recent spendings, etc. I myself get a dollar on every Friday multiplied by my current age, so I'm getting $13 a week as of this post. The only thing I ever use my allowance for is junk food and video games. And no, I am not morbidly obese because of this. :o

Bump. Sorry about that, but this topic got moved off the 'View New Posts' list after just a few minutes, and I don't want it to go unnoticed. Delete this post if necessary.

Don't do that again, Split your topic was removed of the 'View New Posts' list because it wasn't a new post after you read it (for you that is). It would have still showed up on other members 'View New Posts' list. - Eugine

        I get 40 bucks a month.
And I get it once a month, not spaced out.
Congratulations to me, I get crap all.
Allthough sometimes, when I really want something, I'll do some odd-jobs around the house for some extra dough..

I don't work so I don't get my own money, but I don't really get allowance either. I just go and ask my parents to give me money and so they do, because they know I won't spend it on all kinds of cr"p. But if I want to save up big dough for a game or something, I do a job for my mum and dad and then they give me more money than usual. Though I've got a whole piggy-bank full of euroes that I've saved up...

I get £15 from pocket money, which will usually go towards video games. I'm tempted to get an actual job so I get some more money.

My income comes from a vending machine at the arcade. If you hit it in a certain place as you put your money in, say, two dollars, it tells you you put in 8 dollars. You buy x for 1.25 and get 6.75 back. I don't do it constantly because the arcade is in a building with other places, and it has security D:. Don't wanna get caught and have it fixed.

Also, ever couple of weeks my mom gives me some money.

I've got around $90 saved up right now. I don't buy stuff very often... if I want something REALLY bad, it usually comes out fairly close around Christmas. (Nintendo DS, Animal Crossing, Burnout Legends, etc.)

I want a job, but there aren't many good jobs you can get where I live unless you're 16.

My allowence comes from holidays. Christmas, Easter, my birthday, etc. I get most of it on Christmas when I get like $150 cash or check. I could do my chorse daily and get $10 a day, but I'm just too lazy -_-

I make around $700 a month. Bills add up to about $250. The main thing I buy is food. I try to save my money and rarely ever spend more that I make.

My parents pay me not very much. £2 a week.

However, I also get extra money for doing jobs like cleaning the cars / patio, and helping my mother with some of the more tedious bits of her work (such as inputing data into a database)

I can also make quite a bit when I fleece her at crib occasionally

Up here in Moses Lake, every summer there is a job that you can sign up for, and the city will pay you. Basically all you do, is in the summer for all three months, you go around with a group and pick up trash. Our city isn't dirty, but then again, it's not pine-sol fresh either. But for three months, you pick up trash, and after that, they pay you $1000, no joke.

That's cool. Our city's actually pretty clean, but it sounds like something fun to do if you had a friend to tag along with.

In alberta they just raised the minimum wage from like $5.50 to $7.00

this still makes us one of the lowest paying provinces in canada. Probably due to the fact that we're heavily conservative.

I don't have a current income. (sad aint it)

I've been trying to get a job at places like Cold Stones (An Ice Cream Place, for those of you that dont know)

They let you get free ice cream after work, and my cousin works there. So im pretty confident they can give me a job.

It's quite fun work, but I only work bout 12 hours a week = roughly 150 euro per month. It's a nice job for someone my age.

I test, inspect and repair various items used in the lifting industry, such as chains, wire ropes etc. Basically, I make sure things that are used to lift other things don't break when they are lifting things. My company is starting me on visually inspecting Sea Containers as well, which alot more fun than it sounds. Trust me. Hopefully in a few months they put me throught my MPI (Magnetic Partical Inspection) training so I can do welds as well. Hopefully.

Best thing is, I didn't need any qualifications for the job, except a drivers licence. But it can be physically exhausting sometimes. And my boss keeps calling me *** for some reason. Which is pretty funny when I think about it, because im not.

I hope this satisfies your curiousity.
