Where is the worst place on earth that you've ever been too? What's it like? Why's it terrible? What makes you hate it?

I'll have to say Las Vegas. It's filthy, disgusting! That pretty much covers all the criteria of the topic..
Also.
Broken Hill. It's scary.. The street lights don't work.. The only shop in the town is a pub.. It's half burnt down.. It scared me.. Very much..

Probably the alley near our school. It's filled with rubbish and kids going to have a cigarette. It's even called 'Pig's alley.' :P You can't get much worse than that.
There's also parts of northern Cyprus which are really run down and nasty.

I'd have to agree with sibsag, Vegas is terrible and overrated. Definetly the worst place I've been to in recent memory.

My Church graveyard.... at night!! It's horrible at night, 2 people there with you, and only 1 torch. God, it's pant-wetting.

No, it was one of those sleep-over dares. The church is only a 2 minute walk away. But seriously, it really doesn't help goin to a graveyard at night, when you are 9 years old.

There's a large part of the town that I live in, which is mainly council homes. That is one nasty place. They even have rubbish on the front garden.

This one neighborhood near mine has a dumpster halfway through when of their streets. I honestly wonder who the hell put a dumpster in the middle of a street. It's completely outrageous.

Yeah I know what you mean. Toilets at football grounds are always nasty. One had the lock broken off the door so you had to keep one hand on the door. Quite an adventure.

Wookey Hole. It's this cave in the West Country. There were supposed to be bats in there. And this tiny rickety little bridge over this huge underground gorge type thing. My mum dragged me there last year while we were on holiday.

When I'm scared of the dark. And bats. And heights.

Not to mention that it was my birthday. >.<

Hmm, the toilets at Portman Road, Ipswich's ground, are pretty nice. Well, as nice as loos can get. xD
