Where's the BEST place you've EVER been to? What's it like? Why do you love it?

I'll say Byron Bay on the NSW North Coast. IT's a fantastic, rather small town, in a beautiful bay, with fantastic point and beach breaks. It's just 1337.

I don't know if it's the best place on the planet but there was a town in Cyprus that I visited that was just great. There was brilliant views of the sea and it had a nice amount of places to go. Certainly one of the nicer places on the island.

Either New York City, Vancouver or Manila, Philippines. NYC 'cause I've always dreamed of living there or at least staying there for a vacation. Vancouver 'cause it's my home. I like being where I am. Manila is my home away from home, too. :blink:

OMG, Creta Maris, a five star hotel in Crete. I was there with my dad, for a week, cuz my dad was at a conference there. Has it's own private beach ( where i went snorkelling and saw an octopus!!!) and swimming pool, a lovely town nearby, and it did not rain ONCE which is a change for me, living in boring old rainy England. It had an all you can eat buffet breakfast. It was just amazing.
