[Vermin Manaic]

The title said all that needs to be said. Which monster or boss from Golden 1 or 2 are you fond of or like? I like the Vermin monster from Golden Sun because I liked their overall appreance and I thought they were cool. I also like the Mole Mage monster because of their Idie pose. It's pretty cute if I do say so my self.

I think that as far as cool-looking bosses go, I'd have to go with the Sentinel.

And for normal enemies, the Wonder Birds and Gargoyles are cool, too.

I always liked the Saturos boss battle. I also liked fighting the dragons at the end of each game. It felt rewarding after all you've had to do.

Sentinel, Dullahan, Doom dragon, chimera, and Pheonix are my favorites.

I like the Gryphon, Living Armor, Lizard Fighter and Assassin/Slayer enemies. I also quite like the good ol' Wild Wolf.

As far as bosses go I like Poseidon and Star Magician most of all. They rock!

I like the Saturos battles, wonder birds are nice and Star Magician looked cool too.

I'm surprised to not see Dullahan on here... but anyway, my favorite boss would have to be Deadbeard as when I beat him at Level 24, I was able to breathe a satisfying sigh of relief.

For Golden Sun 2, it would have to be the stupid thieves from Vault (if you transferred data from GS1) because they were so much easier than I expected.

Dullahan looked too pixely. The Fusion Dragon and Doom Dragon are both cool-looking, but dammit, their animation was terrible! There is no way in hell that a monster of that size is going to look good with only 3 frames!

Karst and Agatio was my favorite fight. They weren't as pixelated as some of the bigger bosses, but they were still almost as strong. And you don't have to be worried if you lose! So much fun.

I like the Karst and Agatio, Saturos and Menardi battles, they had nice animation and psyenergies.

Basically all the dragon-esque monsters look pretty awesome. Agatio's got some nice fist moves and psynergy. The djinn weren't too bad either.

i liked the karst and agatio fight on top of the jupiter tower because they proposed a really hard challenge and that you get a cool prize afterwards

Hard...very hard.But Navampa, Azart, and Satrage are cool. Sentinel and Valukar PWN. But Dulluhan looks -SWEET- even though he is easy.

Well, the Fusion Dragon's animation was actually pretty good, but the Doom Dragon's, unfortunately, was terrible as you said.

I loved the manticore in GS1. I was so stuck in the Lamakan desert, that when I finally found him, I loved him, cuz he was the end of the desert.

As for TLA, I did like the Serpent in Gaia rock. That was not too well animated, but it was a change to have a flying enemy, and he lloked quite good. I also like fighting Moapa, in trial road, becuase it was just like Colloso, where enemy's DONT have psynergy.

I found it hard, but once you get rid of the blue and green balls, you'll be fine if you guard yourselves against the others.

The Serpent was sweet. He was one of few monsters in the game to use strategy instead of just blasting everywhere with raw power. He'd always attack the weakest one (Sheba) while I was busy curing all the poison he gave to everybody.

I liked Valukar, I did'nt realise he existed for such along time and when I did find him I just though he was cool. Thespiked hammer and the power to use you djinni to summon are just cool

Star Magician because he was the only thing on TLA I could never beat... yet I looked forward to fighting him everytime because he was so damn awesome. :P

And who could forget those cute Colloso Warriors (I think I'm spelling something wrong... forgive me I'm tired.)

I think that the golems were pretty awesome in both games! The boss that struck me had to be the Serpent in TLA, partly cos it looks so intimadating, but mostly cos it took me ages to beat it, even though I was at level 24!

I hated fighting the Golems. They were always stronger than you the first time you face them, no matter where you find them. Still, they were pretty cool.

From GS1, the Saturos/Menardi battles, definitely, except the first (Mystery Man/Mystery Woman).
Also, don't the Vermin look like the Pokemon Marill? :blink: My fave monster would have to be Lizard Men.

From TLA, Poseidon, the Aqua Hydra and the serpent had killer graphics, the Star Magician looks really cool, and Sentinel and Dullahan were neat too. As far as monsters go, I'm going to go with Sea Dragons, the various Slimes (funny attack graphics), and Ravagers.

don't know what so great about the star magicain because when you kill off the balls and get him down to all thunder balls then you is just pumel him to the ground then take out the balls. The thunder balls are the weakest in his arsanal because they use psynergies like blue bolt and shine plasma which at the lvl i was it did less then 50 damage. The only boss no matter how hard i try to beat is duhallan so i think i am most fond of him.

I always liked the Agatio/Karst battle. I thought it was cool how you started with only Felix and Piers, and then your other party members joined later in the fight.

The Saturos/Menardi battle is pretty fun too, though they are way too easy.

And finally the Serpent. Sometimes, I will go fight him without using the mirrors just to see how long I can last. I've heard there are people who have killed him without them, but I've never come close.

I came VERY close to beating the serpent without the mirrors... and then at the end of the turn it said, "Serpent heals all damage!" So I don't think it's possible to beat him without the mirrors.

You have to be severely overleveled, to say the least. You spend the first several turns using magic such as High Impact, and then you summon all of your Djinn in one turn.

Or so I've heard. I've never done it, and I don't pretend to have.

My favourite Boss battles in GS 1 were Sataros and Menardi at the end, Fusion Dragon and Deadbeard. Deadbeard cause of the music played.

As for the GS 2, Doom Dragon who I found even harder than Dullahan, Dullahan though I reckon he kinda sucks as he is a headless knight. Oh and Star Magician was another persoanl favourite due to the fact of the battle music and that it was the longest battle i have fought.

i like long boss battles so i like the Doom Dragon and the Fusion Dragon, Sataros and Menardi at the Venus lighthouse was pretty sweet too, and also the Agatio and Karst battle was heaps fun as well
