Hey, I'm interested to see if anyone else has any airsoft guns, and if so, what kind of guns are they?

Here's a few pictures of my airsoft guns..

I've never even in contact with a gun (thankfully), let alone owning one myself.

This is probably a ridiculous question, but what is an airsoft gun/how does it work, etc.

Oh, an Airsoft Gun is very similar to a real gun, and in some cases are not, and may not even be the same weight.. But it just shoots little BB pellets at a decent rate of 290 Feet Per Second, although, with upgrades, you can easily get the pellet to fly nearly 450 Feet Per Second. The guns operate differently, some can be where you pull the slide back each time and fire, some are powered by rechargeable battery, and some are powered by "gas", often called "green gas" which is basically compressed cO2. These guns are fairly safe and are alot of fun when you have airsoft wars with them. Alot of my friends and I go out in an open area of trees and bushes, and create little bunkers and bases. Once we complete all of that, we create teams and open fire at each other, and is naturally played like a real modern firefight. If your at all intersted in Airsoft Guns, they are fairly cheap, and yet some of them can be a little pricy, but here is a link to the site that I visit alot.

        www.jungletoy.com

"Scroll to the very bottom to browse the Airsoft Guns"

They also have stores themselves spread out, and you can check where the nearest store is by clicking that link above.

I wouldn't mind having the top left and the bolt-action, let me tell ya.... But we have real guns at my house (.22's, .30-06's, shotguns, etc.), and I like shooting those much better, lol....

Airsoft guns are fun for scaring the crap out of your friends though, especially since a real gun would probably seriously injur them and paintball guns are out of the question because nobody likes a mouthful of paint.

I guess I WOULD like to have one of those full-auto M16-lookalikes since the best a civilian can get in the AR line for real guns is an M14 Carbine....

Yeah, real guns are obviously way better in all the ways you look at it. Heh, yet the only downside of it is that you can shoot real guns in the backyard.. or shoot it at your friends.. But anywho, speaking of guns, just today, I drove to Big 5 Sporting goods store.. and luckily found 8mm re-loaded rounds for the old WW1 rifle that we have. In total, I've got 3 real rifles: the semi-automatic .22, the Lever Action 30/30, and the 8mm Bolt Action rifle. All of which are really fun to shoot with some pretty impressive kick. Well, not the .22 of course. :(

I dunno what you're talkin' about.... Of course I can shoot guns in my backyard.... I live in Maine!:(

We have a bolt-action thirty-ot, a spring-loaded .22 (with a tube that runs along the length of the barrel to hold the bullets), an old 9mm WWII German Luger, a 9-guage shotgun, and a bolt-action 30/30.... God I love guns.... :) Someday soon I'll be getting ahold of an Enfield (Civil War era) for my reenacting.... =)

Yeah, I have a similar .22.. with a little barrel that runs all the way down, and you pull that out to load the bullets inside. And dang, you have alot of guns!

By the way, you reenact for the Civil War battles?

                  You mean a BB Gun?

I've never had one, but they were quite popular over here about a year ago. We call them BB Guns though.

Well, BB guns are the extremely fast shooting guns, they shoot those small, silver BB's. And well, those things can easily pierce the skin, or at least in my oppinion. Two of my friends back in California have alot of open land and they hunt squirrel alot and easily kill them. Heh, nothing I'd want to get shot by..

Yes, I reenact.... I can't wait to get ahold of my Enfield.... I've been making charges for a while now, I must have a couple hundred stocked up.... =) And it'll be nice to get rid of the company gun and finally have a bayonet that fits perfectly.... XD

And yes, I have a lot of guns.

Judging from what I see in CS. XD

                                Cool airsofts man.

Well, I have an airsoft uniform so most of the hits that I take don't hurt as much. I have a military vest with multiple pouches to hold my sidearm and a few spare magazines. I also have a SWAT team looking helmet as well as BDU's that I bought from a military outlet store... and then just a average face mask to protect my eyes and mouth. Now, being honest, you don't really need all that stuff, (except the face mask), but when your playing with friends that have Gas guns, which can really hurt, thats when you need to get a little more clothing.

No, no, not BB pellets, Airsoft Pellets, airsoft doesn't hurt as much as BB pellets.

Haha, that sounds fun, thats similar to an airsoft party I had in a nearby Wash at my friends house. It was a guy named Jimmy, and since it was his first time playing.. we made up some "tradition", that we made that very minute when we thought about it. We told him to stand away a bit.. and turn around. So he did, then we just unloaded on him with all the stuff we had.. and boy.. did he have some marks everywhere. B)

Yeah, we agreed to the fact that it was a little mean, but at the few moments we had, it was alot of fun just to unload all you have and feel that little adrenaline rush of owning someone... ;)

I just got an Airsoft gun the day before yesterday. It's a Crosman Stinger P30. 270 fps and great accuracy.

No, not really.. after the airsoft party was over, and we were just putting our guns away, he said that he'd really like to do it again, and that'd he'd try to buy a gun in the near future. So, he's pretty much into the whole airsoft thing now.. hehe. :P

                                                        Hardcore....!

This isn't an Airsoft thing, but I figured out which gun I'm going to buy for myself this August.... AR-15! =D Uses .223, not very good for hunting, but what the heck, right? Then I'm going to buy another ot-six....

Then I got to look into buying my Enfield rifle for my reenactors group. I can't use a Company musket forever, you know.

                                                        I'm crazy for guns!

Ooh, Nice, I actually managed to see an older man with one on the 20th. I went with some family and brought my .22, 30-30, and the 8mm mauser. And about the AR-15.. that thing is REALLY loud, with a huge punch to the chest with each fire. After he left, another man brought his AK-47, from the vietnam era, which was a pretty cool site to see. :P
