As long as they don't turn into another SONY, I'm good.

    Opinions?

They should just stick to music, and mabey videos. Sure, they make some computer games, but not many. There's enough videogame companies already, we don't need another.

Hey...what have you got against Sony? The PS2 is the best-selling console on Australian soil and it's been around for years.

            Darn my patriotism.

I like PS2 for being better than Gamecube (damn you Nintendo and your lack of understanding online play and 3rd party games!), but I simply don't like Sony. See the E3 2006 topic for more details, I don't want to talk about it here...

If Apple really does this, I think maybe they should stick with portable stuffs.

And on top of that, It would be easier getting customers on the handheld market. (I think.)

If they finally know how to make a good looking handheld (DS *shivers*) it would be a big pro.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit, but if they do enter the market I think they'll be innovative, since they had many new ideas for the PC and other stuff...

Yeah, the iPods were innovative as heck. I'm not exactly sure how they would get an iPod to control games fluidly, though...

If they make a portable system, I bet it'll end up like the Gizmondo...Exactly, you never heard of the Gizmondo.

I have. It's crappy. If Macintosh makes a portable gameing system, it won't be the best on the market, but it won't be nearly as bad as the Gizmondo. Macintosh actually makes more powerful, better computers. The bad thing is, is that they decided to use a different format so that people would buy their computers since they were better, and then would have to buy their software as well, but they did it too late, so the other format got established while Macintosh got left behind.

Well either way, I just have to say that if apple starts selling games, then they basically are sticking a knife in their back. People like apple for their creativity, and by trying to sell games for an ipod (or whatever they are trying to do with the thing), they are just trying to be like every other company (more like Sony).
