Anyone played this game at all? All my clan members are telling me how good it is, and that I should get it. The sad part is I can't argue with them, I've played all the previous Hitman games and have always loved the series, so why shouldn't I get it? I've even downloaded the Blood Money demo from Xbox Live Marketplace and thought it was great, but one thing has bugged me in the series. There has been no drastic changes, no major new features or something fresh. Each game even looks the same, plays the same, and feels the same except for a few minor additions such as a new line of missions and guns with an added (but not very deep) storyline. Blood Money is a good game, but am I in the mood for another 'expansion' pack to the first Hitman game, because that's what it feels like right now.

I tried a demo of it a few weeks ago, but I was really bad at it. To be fair I hadn't even played a Hitman game before.
I've heard it's good, but very difficult. Then again I guess the others were difficult too, from what I've heard.

Nah man, it's easy. Hitman games are all easy if you just get into the groove of things. Since you say you havn't played a Hitman game before, I think there is your problem. It takes a bit of getting used to, in order to enter the mind of an assassin. I started off with Hitman, then Silen Assassin, Contracts and now I'm considering undertaking the missions of Blood Money.

I think you should play the Demo over about 5 times, and you will see how you get used to it so soon. It just takes a bit of practice, but in the real game you won't have a set path like the one in the Demo. When playing the actual game, you'll have one big mission, and many ways to complete it. I love the Hitman series for one reason: it really makes you feel like an assassin, the way you wear a disguise, walk past the guards, take out your sillenced pistol and fire two shots at the chest of your target and then make your escape. It feels so ghetto.

I thought it would probably be hard to get into at first. But you're right I probably would get into it with time.

Also, try your best not to run & gun. The game is extremely average for a "shoot everything you see, dawg!" sort of game. It's when you try and ACT like a Hitman that makes the game become something of high quality and enjoyment. Pretend you're a Hitman, and pretend you need to find a way to get your target. You need to try your best to not be seen, and you need to know when to kill someone and when to let them live. Plant a bomb in their car, poisen their food, snipe them? It's up to you, oh and most importantly, never leave a witness that has seen your face, but even better, never let anyone see your face to become a witness in the first place.

I've watched a friend play one for the Xbox before, and I've heard them talk about it. It sounds REALLY interesting, and I'd like to play it. Don't think it'll ever happen though, thanks to it's M rating.

I know what you mean. My parents are really strict about age limits. If I'm not old enough, I have to give up hope of getting the game.

Wow, your parents suck. My parents really don't give a crap what game I play, because if I kill someone with a chainsaw and the police are dragging me into Jail, they know damn well I'm not going to be screaming "GTA Made Me Do It!" I'm going to be screaming "That ******* slept with my girl, yo!". Anyway I'm 18 so they can't say **** anymore even if they wanted to.

Wow, I think this is the first Hitman to be released for the GameCube. First Tomb Raider and now Hitman...

If you want this game so badly ask someone you know who is 18 or older to buy it for you(you give him the money, of course) or you can even pay some older guy to get it.

Or you can do what any self-respecting gamer would do; order the game online. As long as you have a credit card number they don't care how old the person ordering is because they assume he/she is over 18 due to the card. My little cousin orders so much porn using his dad's card. His DVD collection is bigger than mine and he's only 16.

If I had limitless money to try every game I wanted to, this game might be on the list. Other than that, there's just so many other games out there that I want more. Plus, I hate playing shooters on the GC. The trigger buttons are so annoying!

Yeah, I don't have any shooters for the GC. Unless you class RE4.

I gave up on my search. The only shooters are war games and those aren't my cup of tea, to say the least. I like my run and gun.
