Is it possible to only reformat part of a hard drive? >_>

My parents got pissed at me because they found out about all the forums I go to and jazz. They haven't found my MSN logs yet, but we're taking in the computer because of some virusez we got.

They're taking it in to a shop and getting it fixed (as the compy is under warranty by the shop) and they are going to ask for any deleted web pages and text files. Help. D:

Why would they ask for deleted webpages and such?
You didn't delete files in an attempt to solve your virus problem, did you?

Anyways, you can check out Partition Magic...

Why didn't you have anti-virus software installed?

No. I deleted the web pages because I'm not allowed on GSSF and stuff.

Why not install Firefox on a USB drive or something and run that...

Oooh. Clever idea. It would be like Firefox in your pocket.

Why wouldn't someone be allowed on GSSF? It's not like it's a porn site or something.

Wow, that Firefox idea is awesome! I can't believe I never thought of that!

I would definitely consider that, PDM.

You know, Firefox does include a feature that allows you to delete all browser and search history when you shut it down. If that's all you need, then that's your easiest solution.
