Alright, so the walkthrough says that you just put things in the chest. I get the "do you want to put this item in the chest?" and then i say yes, and then i'm to select an item. But when i do, there's never the "use" option which always accompanies a course of events like this. So how do i do this? :P

u_u iiiiiiiiiiiiiiii'm dumb. I didn't read all of the words which say "ARMOR or WEAPON" and i was going "SHOES!" so yeah, further reference for anyone else who does that, they want armor or weapons, not shoes.

Put weapons in. You don't really need them since you're going to want to use stuff like Psynergy, Djinn, and Summons. You don't want to get rid of your armor...

I put my shields and helms in. It doesn't really matter, you rely on psyenergy and attacks anyway. Just keep casting aura or wish if you're a low level.

I read on the internet that you need be at least level 33 to defeat them all and also don't for the love of pete use Djinn, only use Shade that will pump up your resistance.

Actually, shade reduces damage by 90% but only for 1 turn. Steam boosts elemental resistance.

And why would you not want to use Djinn? The only reason I could think of would be because you stats lose their boosts.

Using djinn messes with your classes and disables psynergy that you might need.

EDIT: Holy fried crap sandwhich! I'm a lord!

Well i won by using djinn mostly. The summons weren't as helpful but using echo and waft and the other djinns that directly attack were good. I kept all of jenna's djinn set so that she had healing aura and used that every turn so that i wouldn't have to worry about anyone being downed. There was a strategy that i read to defeat the fusion dragon in GS and i've just started applying it to almost every boss. You keep all of jenna/mia's djinn set so that they have healing aura/wish well and you use that every turn, and then use everyone else to either revive downed players (if that happens and each member has water of life) or you put all of the djinn except the ones that attack or revive players on standby then once everyone's on standby summon them. It's rather effective. Kind of boring, but effective.

Personally I'm a big fan of letting the first party summon themselves to death and let the 2nd (main) party finish it off. That's how I defeated Dullahan. :P

Though it wouldn't work here yet.

But you can't switch party members if the switchee is dead.

Actually you can. You can switch out dead members, switch in dead members, or even switch 1 dead for another. And the full team switches automatically if all four die.

Huh? No! If all four active party members die, the game's over, right?!

Nope, if all four active die, they are all switched to the back row and the reserve team is moved out into battle. The game ends when all 8 die. I can't believe you never figured that out on your own. It's a powerful strategic weapon, especially agains Dullahan.
