Any Ukers Interested In Grabbing A Dslite For 85gbp?

I have a friend that wants to get a Black DSLite from the UK, and I've found one at 85GBP....but it only ships to the UK. For those of us that deal in the dollar, that's just over $155, and that number includes shipping, but only shipping to the UK. Actually, there's a "17.5% VAT" too, but I have no idea what that is, would it be tax?
Anyways, there are multiple of this item for sale by the same person, so if anyone was interested in getting one, I'd be perfectly willing...as long as you got two, and then sent one to my friend. He'd of course pay the full price, including the shipping that you had to do to get the package to him, and you'd benefit by grabbing a cheap Black DS Lite. I actually haven't run the whole thing by him yet, but he wanted me to find a deal on a DS Lite that would save him about $50, and this is as close as I've got. So, anyone interested?

That bumps it up from 155 to 182, drat, and that's without the shipping between the UK and USA. Looks like my deal isn't such a great deal after all. If my friend isn't interested, I may just post the link here for anyone who wants one, with or without helping me out. xD

You might want to wait 'till Nintendo releases the word on what's up with the Black DS' problem with diagonals. Sometimes it takes a while for the system to register that two buttons on the D-Pad are being pressed at the same time. It's not as big of a problem as you might think, but it's still a pain.

Considering the main game my friend will be buying doesn't care about diagonals in the slightest as long as it has a good touch screen( starfox command), then I wouldn't worry about that too much, but I will warn him. Thanks for the heads up!

You can't even get a black DS Lite in England, you know. I bought mine on my birthday. Every single shop I went in was sold out of the black ones. Had to settle for a white one.

That DS Lite is too expensive, even without VAT. You're better off ordering your games from the source every self-respecting UK gamers buys his stuff from. Anyone who doesn't already buy from these sites, you really ought to thank me and blow me.
www.play.com
www.gameplay.com
The best prices, the fastest delivery (if you pre-order a game it will come a day or two BEFORE official release, they are one of the only shops that do this and get away with it everytime) and great customer support plus a huge selection. We British gamers swear by those two sites.

My dad uses those sites. I can't tho. Because for some reson the bank won't let me have a debit card, and I'm too young for a credit card. So whenever I order stuff off t'internet, I have to use my Dad's. But I couldn't ask to use it to buy a Lite and some games, because he barely has any money in his bank account seeing as all he gets is government benefits.
So I had to rely on the high street. Which was sold out of Black ones.

I'd rather save £30 by buying it online than go to the high street. I have a debit card, you'll get a young persons account along with a debit card once you're about 17. I got my card at 16 so I'm surprised you can't get it, I guess it depends on your bank.

I am 17... but they won't let me have one. I went and asked a few weeks ago. They blatantly said no straight away. Didn't even give me a straight reason.
Although it seemed to me that the woman at the desk was thinking "She's a teenager, if I give her a card she'll spend she much she over withdraws" or something. All they said was "I can upgrade you to a current account, but I won't give you a debit card."

Another reason why London pisses all over the rest of the UK, I suppose.
