Best Developers

Personally, I think the Lionhead Studios might be the best developer of our time. They're known for Fable and, of course, the Black & White series. They're also very good at combining multiple genres into one game. The Movies was a combination of a Tycoon/Sims style game and it flowed together pretty nicely, and Black & White also combined city-building, taking care of your "pet", and a war-RTS thing pretty well.
Blizzard is also a great developer but they keep depriving me of StarCraft, so I hate them for that. What's so great about WarCraft, it's just like any other fantasy game... (and what's with the 99 Food Limit?!)
Discuss your favorite developer.
EDIT: I know there's at least 2 other topics discussing the same thing but they're ANCIENT, ya hear? And terribly out-dated. If this is closed or deleted I may just cry.

Others are Esemble Studios - AoE; Blizzard - World of Warcraft; Konami - Metal Gear Solid; Capcom - Street Fighter, X-Men, Megaman (I think) etc; Sony - God of War, Gran Turismo...
That's about it. Overall, I favour Japanese games developers.

And whoever it was that made Tetris.
I also like EA. Their trashy games provide hours of fun.

Bethesda Softworks. Morrowind and Oblivion, anyone? Best RPG's ever. Addicted to both.
And Nintendo. Which will always be my favourite. ;)

Still, the Square companies are my favorites, and Nintendo (I guess)... and probably Blizzard for StarCraft and The Lost Vikings... anyone play The Lost Vikings?

I'd also like Nintendo to stop forcing Retro Studios to make more Metroid titles for them, and let them make something of their own imagination.
I'm sure you all remember Raven. His username 'Raven Blade' was the title of a Retro Studios rpg that was cancelled so they could focus on Metroid Prime...

Now that the Wii is in play, that means Camelot will have the tools to work with to make a successful game. Surprise me, Camelot. I need a good reason to add to my list of best developers...

And no, I don't think the Mario Sports titles from Camelot should give it any higher respect. They have much more talent than that. That's the same point Neon makes about Nintendo forcing Retro Studios to produce only the Metroid Prime titles.
On a random side note, there have been rumours that Retro Studios is working (or will be working) on a project separate from the Metroid series after Corruption is released.

On the flip-side, though, perhaps the Mario Sports game gave Camelot a lot more money to work with than they could have had if they had been working on a GS3 instead.

... And I was thinking for the entire time he got his name from Fire Emblem.
And yeah, I forgot about Intelligent Systems, they was one of my favourite when I loved the FE series, but now I really don't bother with FE.

Camelot will stay on my list as long as they make a new RPG.

I'm still debating on whether Kirby is fluff or rubber...
HAL made Super Smash Bros, too. Nintendo absolutely needed an All-Star Fighting game to satisfy the "My Mario can beat up your Pikachu" quarrels.

I missed HAL in my first post. They have rolled out some great titles and with SSBB and at least three more DS Kirby titles on the way, they have an awesome future.
